On this week’s BOW podcast episode, Dr. Kelley Mathews interviews Laura Barringer about her book A Church Called Tov, co-written with her father, Dr. Scot McKnight. In this conversation, they are specifically addressing how this concept of a tov church creates a healthy space for women.

Laura explains that tov is the Hebrew word for goodness which is an important aspect of God’s character that he calls his people to reflect. Laura and Kelley discuss signs to look for when determining if a church fulfills this trait of goodness toward women and what actionable steps leaders can take to create this kind of church culture.
