Restoring confidence and identity in Jesus’ name… that’s what we do here at The Hub. 🤍

We had the honor of providing makeovers for members of the unhoused community, reminding them of a truth that can never be taken away: their identity is found in Christ. Sometimes people simply need a reminder. A renewal. A hard reset that helps silence every lie the enemy has spoken over their lives.

Homelessness is a circumstance, not an identity. It does not determine a person’s worth, value, or who God says they are.

As you step into this new month, I strongly encourage you to prioritize your constant dwelling in the presence of the Lord.

This new month of JUNE we’re not carrying stress, burdens, worry, fear, offense, disappointment, or yesterday’s battles. We’re not carrying expired mindsets, expired coping mechanisms, or expired dependencies.

Check the expiration date💥

In studying the lives of Moses and Jesus, one thing stood out: they frequently withdrew to be alone with the Father. Before the miracles. Before the leadership. Before the next assignment. They went to the secret place.

That was their source.

Their endurance wasn’t found in their own strength📣 There it was found in the One who strengthened them.

When you’re disconnected from the source, you lose power. So no matter how many times you need to run back to Jesus, run back. Frequently. Daily. Consistently.

If there’s anything competing with your time in His presence, check the expiration date. The old ways of handling pressure have expired. The people you’ve been running to before God have expired. The habits that keep you from the secret place have expired.

Their time is up⌛️

This June, we’re making room for what is new by letting go of what has expired.

YOU make it possible for us to go out and do these amazing acts of kindness, service, and love throughout the communities.

Today we were able to bless an unhoused gentleman with a pair of Adidas that happened to be his PERFECT size. Now that ain’t nothing but God. 🙌🏽

If you didn’t know, one thing we do here at The Hub is ride throughout the DFW areas because homelessness has increased tremendously throughout the Dallas metropolitan area over the years. We go directly into the communities and give out clothes, shoes, food, hygiene items, encouragement, and more ON SITE.

Yes, we have options for people to apply and receive assistance but what about those who don’t have access to technology?
What about those who don’t have phones, transportation, or resources?

We never want people to feel excluded from receiving help simply because they lack access. That’s what makes us different here at The Hub. We meet people where they are. ❤️

One thing we were never afraid to do was step out and be different.

Yeah, it’s one thing to hand someone money through a car window. It’s one thing to pray for them, encourage them, or drop off food. But we wanted to go beyond that.

Here at The Hub, through our Assistance Pillar, monthly we try to find ways to pour back into the communities — not just by giving, but by being present. By getting in the field with them. By laughing with them, playing football with them, talking with them, and reminding them that they are SEEN.

Because they are no different than us.
They are still children of God.
Still worthy of love.
Still worthy to be chosen.
Still worthy to feel good about themselves.
Still valuable.

Sometimes the greatest thing you can give someone isn’t money! Simply it’s reminding them who they are. ❤️

Revival isn’t hard to access. Restoration isn’t hidden from us.

The truth is… God is not distant. He’s right here. 🤍

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8

Sometimes we become so thirsty for man’s validation, man’s experiences, man’s encounters, and man’s approval that we forget the presence of God is available to us directly. We chase atmospheres instead of becoming one. We search for revival in rooms, platforms, personalities, and noise while God is saying, “Seek My face.”

“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13

You don’t have to borrow someone else’s intimacy with God to encounter Him for yourself.

True revival starts in the heart.
True restoration begins with intimacy. ✨

It’s not about how loud we are, how emotional we appear, or how impressive we look before people. You can be loud in volume but low in the capacity of God’s power. Why? Because power is revealed through proximity.

“It’s not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. — Zechariah 4:6

The more time we spend with Him, the more we begin to carry Him. The atmosphere shifts because of His presence within us … not performance! 🎭

“Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God.” — Exodus 34:29

To the girl who can’t afford to “look her best” right now.
The girl who went from having it all together to barely making it through the week.
The girl who’s been hit with loss after loss, whether it was financially, emotionally, or mentally.
The girl healing from divorce, abuse, homelessness, heartbreak, disappointment, or simply life.

I see you.

People love to say “don’t look like what you’re going through,” but the truth is sometimes survival doesn’t leave room for luxury. Sometimes God allows stripping seasons, but those seasons come with a purpose. Not to destroy you, but to remove ego, pride, vanity, and everything that had your identity tied to appearances instead of Him.

That girl used to be me.

And when God brought me out, I made it my mission through The Hub to remind women that your worth was never in your wallet, your clothes, your hair, your lashes, or your status. You are still valuable. You are still worthy. And God can still do a new thing in your life.
