The water is out in Dallas with no estimate of when it will come back on. As a result, we will NOT be able to have Church this morning! I will post this to the prayer list as well but if you know anyone who might not see either, please let them know. Thank you.

🇵🇦 A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Panama this afternoon, followed by a series of aftershocks.

🙏 Reports received from Pastor Jose McKella in Panama indicate that Wesleyan pastors and their families are safe. We’re thanking God for His protection. We are still waiting to hear from two pastors who serve in the area most affected by the earthquake, as they don’t currently have phone service.

So far, no deaths have been reported in the country, but several buildings have been damaged.

💙 As our brothers and sisters in Panama respond to the needs around them, we invite the global Wesleyan family to join in prayer:

• Pray that Panama would experience peace amid stress and fear

• Pray for the restoration of electricity and water in the country, as both were shut off in the affected areas

• Pray for protection, provision and encouragement for pastors, families and churches in the affected area

• Pray for our Wesleyan brothers and sisters as they discern how to support and encourage their communities

Carson has been playing ball since he was little, and last night at Stanley Dixie Youth he hit his first ball ever to the outfield in a game, and to us, that’s a home run! I told you it was coming, you're getting so strong. Every kid deserves their moment, the hope of getting better, and people who believe in them.
Carson, we’re so proud of you. You’ve always inspired me and so many others, and I’m grateful we get to share these moments with you. Keep swinging, kid. Love ya!
