mpus Ministry at SMU serves the largest religious denomination of students on campus with diverse programs designed to meet each student “where they are.” Ministries and programs include Daily Mass, OCIA, Bible studies, mission trips, Servant Leadership Council, community service, Awakening Retreat, discipleship, Sunday Supper, FYSH (first year small groups), Jericho Nights, and more.

Recently, our students and staff returned from a 10-day pilgrimage through Poland. Along the way, they:

• Prayed at the Divine Mercy Shrine and St. Faustina’s tomb
• Celebrated Mass in the Chapel of St. Maximilian Kolbe
• Walked in the footsteps of St. John Paul II
• Visited Our Lady of Czestochowa
• Explored some of Poland’s most beautiful Catholic churches

It was truly a trip surrounded by the Lord’s grace. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin summer break!

✝️ FINAL SUNDAY MASS OF THE YEAR - SUN, MAY 10
Join us for our last student Sunday Masses of the academic year at 5PM in Perkins Chapel and 8PM at the Catholic Center. It's been a beautiful year of faith together!

🍔 FINAL SUNDAY SUPPER OF THE YEAR - SUN, MAY 10
We're going out with a bang! Join us for our last Sunday Supper at 6:15 PM at The C featuring Bubba's plus ice cream sandwiches for dessert. See you there!

🎶 SOLEMN ADORATION WITH MUSIC - WED, MAY 13
Come spend time with the Lord from 9:00 to 10:00 PM at The C with music and the opportunity for confession!

🎓 GRADUATION MASS - FRI, MAY 15
All are invited to a special Mass at 12:00 PM in Perkins Chapel to honor our graduating seniors! Please note there will be NO confessions or 12:10 PM Mass at The C this day. Congrats to the Class of 2026!

📚 EXTENDED STUDY HOURS AT THE C
Finals are here and The C has you covered! Come study at 3057 University Blvd with a chapel and coffee just steps away. Open 9AM to 5PM on Sunday, May 10th (normal Sunday Supper and 8PM Mass hours still apply), and 9AM to 11PM Monday, May 11th through Wednesday, May 13th.

☀️ SUMMER SCHEDULE
Starting May 17th, we move to our summer schedule! Sunday Mass will be at 9AM only in Perkins Chapel, celebrated by Msgr. Milam Joseph. The C will be CLOSED May 18 through June 7, then open Monday through Thursday 9AM to 5PM. Daily Mass, Adoration, and Confession times will be posted weekly beginning June 7 on our website. Congratulations to our beloved Arianna Villarreal for receiving an 'M' Award - one of the most prestigious awards given by SMU for exceptional student leaders.

Arianna reflects on her experience here at the Catholic Center: 'Throughout my two years at SMU, the C has become a steady presence in my life, helping me grow in relationship with Christ and with His people. Whether through adoration or conversations with friends between classes, our community taught me that leadership is ultimately about stewarding the gifts God has given us in service of others.'
