This summer, St. Paul’s members Andrew Secrest and Emilee Reynolds traveled to Guatemala as part of a nine-person mission team—and what a week of ministry it was!

Over four clinic days, the team saw 358 patients, filled 780 prescriptions, provided parasite treatment to 1,295 people, distributed 568 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste, fitted 94 people with reading glasses, and provided fluoride treatments to 203 children.

But those numbers tell only part of the story. ❤️

Behind every number is a person, a conversation, a smile and a relationship strengthened through the love of Christ.

Over the next few Saturdays, we’ll be sharing more of Andrew and Emilee’s Guatemala mission experience as we look forward to hearing from them at our upcoming WELCA Guatemala Mission Luncheon on September 27!

What does it really mean to follow Jesus? ✝️

Sometimes the answer to “What would Jesus do?” leads us somewhere we wouldn’t necessarily choose on our own.

Go. Suffer. Die. Rise.

This past Sunday’s message from Matthew 16:21–28 reminds us that following Christ means trusting where He leads—even through sacrifice, uncertainty, and change—because the cross is never the end of the story.

This Wednesday Word reminds us that church isn’t simply a building—it’s God’s people coming together in His name. 🌿✝️
