At the end of worship today we welcomed Natasha Perez, and children Leah and Luke as our newest members. It was actually Leah’s idea for them to join!

We also welcomed our summer intern, Miranda. She is a part of the Wesley-Rankin summer intern program and will be assisting Pastor Kay this summer.

As our family's hold their breath to get to the end of the school year, I reflect back on a truth I've learned and relearned many times. One that guides us at KPUMC.

It's a truth I see in our church, in Oak Cliff's new Halperin Park, in the Hill Country...and even in the Asparagus ferns on my front porch.

So good to talk to parents for a bit.

My sense?
Our North Oak Cliff families are holding their breath and exhaustedly reaching for the school finish line.

Almost every parent is deeply looking forward to the end of a crazy May and the beginning of summer.

So, however you’re feeling: Thanks for another great year of Wednesday Night Live.

We’re so grateful to serve your families. See you next Wednesday, one last time until Fall.
