Haven of Love

Haven of Love Haven Of Love is a faith-based 501(c)3 organization. Our Mission is to bring healing and restoration. It is especially difficult for them.

Women that have lived such a life style as prostitution and drug addiction face an uphill battle starting a new life. Most come from families where abuse of some kind was common and they know no other way to live. The Haven Of Love started within a home with a support group that mentored women from this life style, as well as taught co-dependency classes with these ladies. Bible study, with the word of God as the foundation, was an integral part of their support.

At Haven of Love, women are encouraged to look beyond where they have been and begin believing that God still has purpose for their lives. Through faith, support and the willingness to keep moving forward, a new future can begin to take shape.

There is hope. There is purpose. There is still more ahead.

Marissa had tried different paths before, but this time she knew something had to be different.

At Haven of Love, she was given time and space to heal, hear God’s voice, discover who she is in Him, and begin rebuilding her life.

Our ministry carries the truth of God’s Word into places where hope can feel very far away.

We go inside to teach, encourage, pray and remind women that incarceration does not define who they are or what God can still do with their lives.

Through Bible study and Christ-centered classes, women are given the opportunity to begin changing old patterns, strengthening their faith and preparing for a different future.

Sometimes the first step toward a new life begins before the prison doors ever open.

There is something special about serving alongside people who believe in the same mission.

Haven of Love is blessed by women who give their time, their gifts, their prayers and their hearts to help make this work possible. Different strengths, different stories, one shared desire to see lives restored and women reminded that there is hope.

Sometimes ministry looks like sitting close when someone is hurting.

There are moments when there are no perfect words, no quick answers, and nothing to fix in that instant. There is simply the choice to stay, to pray, to comfort, and to remind someone they do not have to carry the weight alone.

At Haven of Love, walking alongside women means being present in both the victories and the hard places.

So much of ministry happens in the small things that may never be seen.

We are thankful for every hand that serves, every person who prepares, and every prayer that goes up before the work ever begins.
