The Distinctively Debs Program was birthed from the vision of First Lady Serita Jakes, and was designed to equip developing young women with essential life teachings in social, professional, personal, and spiritual growth. The Debutante Program was birthed from the vision of First Lady Serita Jakes, and designed to equip developing young women with essential life teachings in social, professional,

personal, and spiritual growth. The main pillars at the center of the program’s framework are:
- Deliver knowledge on the mind, body, and spiritual development of a woman of God
- Encourage passion, drive, and ambition in professional and personal endeavors
- Instill grace, poise, confidence, and femininity within the young women
- Promote sisterhood and unity amongst the Debutantes

The program encompasses workshops, social activities and community service with an emphasis on faith, etiquette, chastity, interpersonal relationships and higher education. Since the program's inception, hundreds of young women have participated and continue to volunteer with the Distinctively Debs program and WoMan-to-Woman Ministries.

Our Core Debs told us they wanted a “pajama party” for the final debs session, so that’s exactly what we did! 💕💕 Pink pajamas everywhere! Even our virtual debs and mentors tuned into the session LIVE, and came dressed in their pink pjs too!!

It was a pretty in pink takeover and an absolute blast!!
