Mar Thoma Church of Dallas (Farmers Branch) Golden Jubilee Finale Begins Today; Mar Thoma Metropolitan Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma to Be Chief Guest
DALLAS, TX: The Golden Jubilee Finale of the Mar Thoma Church of Dallas (Farmers Branch) will take place over three days, from Friday, July 31, 2026, to Sunday, August 2, 2026. His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, Head of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church, will grace the occasion as the chief guest for the valedictory celebrations.
Centering around the Jubilee theme, "Sojourners with Christ," the parish marks 50 years of divine grace and Christian love by emphasizing compassion and outreach to the community. Translating faith into action, the church successfully executed a wide array of impactful social, charitable, and spiritual projects over the jubilee year:
* Chapel construction at the Basthar Mission Field (Chhattisgarh)
* Educational aid for children of evangelists
* Sneha Theeram charitable support
* Support initiatives for differently-abled children
* Educational aid for theological students
* Housing projects (construction of 3 houses through the 'Kanavu' project)
* Local mission initiatives and lay training programs
* Monthly revival meetings, study forums, and a Bible writing project
* House visits and jubilee gift distribution
* Release of the Jubilee Divine Melodies songbook,
* jubilee souvenir,
* church history documentary, and musical album
* Jubilee Chai Run (5K Run),
* stage programs,
* pickleball tournament

* Friday, July 31: Revival Night at 6:00 PM
* Saturday, August 01: Public Meeting at 5:30 PM
* Sunday, August 02: Holy Communion (Malayalam) at 8:30 AM, led by Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan
Reflecting on the milestone, the Vicar stated that it has been a divine calling to extend help and comfort to many in need through the unwavering support and loving involvement of the parish members.
Under the leadership of Vicar Rev. Abraham V. Samson, Assistant Vicar Rev. Jeswin John, and General Convenors Aby Thomas and Christo Mekkattukulam, various committees are actively coordinating to ensure the resounding success of the event.
Vicars from sister Mar Thoma parishes, priests from ecumenical churches across Dallas, and local socio-cultural leaders will participate in the three-day celebrations.
