Only 11 days until our 25th Anniversary Silver Gala! ✨

Before Operation Care International became a ministry serving across 19 countries, it began with one simple act of love.

After her husband David passed away, Susie Jennings began preparing sandwiches and sharing blankets with people experiencing homelessness in downtown Dallas in 1993. Before long, she became known as “The Blanket Lady.”

That small beginning grew through faith, obedience, and the support of caring partners, including First Baptist Church Dallas, where our partnership began at the Spurgeon Harris Building. For 25 years, God has used OCI to serve the lost, least, and lonely with practical care, the love of Jesus, and hope for renewal. ❤️

Come experience The Silver Trail: Around the World in One Hour from 6:00–7:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, at Center Stage, First Baptist Church Dallas, 1707 San Jacinto St., Dallas, TX 75201.

Guests will journey through the 19 countries where OCI has shared the Gospel and practical love with more than 40,000 children and families around the world. 🌎❤️

Dinner and the gala program follow from 7:00–9:00 PM, featuring three special moments:

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Robert Jeffress, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Dallas, has accepted The Light of the World Award at Operation Care International’s 25th Anniversary Silver Gala! ✨

Dr. Jeffress will also share for 10–15 minutes about the long partnership between First Baptist Dallas and OCI: a ministry that began with sandwiches and blankets at the Spurgeon Harris Building after David’s passing in 1993. What a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness!

Dr. Ron Harris will serve as our emcee for this unforgettable evening.

Sometimes hope looks like a phone call, a bus ticket, or a safe path home. ❤️

Through year-round resource bridging, Operation Care International helps people experiencing homelessness and hardship reconnect with loved ones and access the support they need to move forward.

At our 2026 Christmas Gift outreach, Carla was reunited with her daughter after more than a decade apart. She was one of five people we helped return home that season.

These moments remind us that serving the lost, least, and lonely is about more than meeting immediate needs. It is about restoring dignity, rebuilding connection, and sharing the love of Jesus through practical care.

Modeled after the servant heart of Jesus, it opens the door to spiritual transformation, healing, and lasting hope. Following our recent, heartwarming Christmas in July outreach where we poured love into so many precious children and families, our hearts are already overflowing with anticipation for our upcoming December Christmas Gift event! THANK YOU, DALLAS! CHRISTMAS IN JULY 2026 RECAP

What a beautiful day it was. The Lord answered our prayers : the weather was mild, and hundreds of families came through the doors at TR Hoover.

We had the privilege of serving children and families with:
👟 New socks and shoes, paired with footwashing : our signature act of humble service
🍲 Warm food for every family
📖 The Gospel presented to each family : the heart of Operation Care International
🎁 Gifts for the whole family: shampoo, conditioner, perfume, toys
💧 Bottled water and Gatorade to beat the summer heat
❤️ And lots of love

Our incredible volunteers showed up in force : washing feet, sharing the Gospel, handing out gifts and food, and loving every person who walked through the doors.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, and prayed: thank you. You are the hands and feet of Jesus. Because of you, families felt seen, loved, and cared for.

The mission continues. From Dallas to the ends of the earth : we love bigger.

🚨 URGENT PLEA: CHRISTMAS IN JULY DALLAS IS TOMORROW! 🚨

Dear friends and faithful supporters, we are just 1 day away from our Christmas in July event at TR Hoover, and we are still in BIG NEED of essential items to help local families and children in need!

So many in our community are struggling, and we want to wrap them in the love of Jesus by providing tangible support. We urgently need donations of:
👟 Shoes
🍲 Food
👕 Clothing
🎒 School supplies (families with children are arriving needing backpacks and tools to learn!)
📖 Bibles
🧸 Toys & Gifts
