Beginning this week, our parish family will embark on a beautiful journey of prayer together. From June 3rd through June 11th, we invite everyone at St. Rita to join us in praying the Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Drawing from the Litany of the Sacred Heart, this novena offers us a daily opportunity to reflect on the wisdom of saints and pontiffs, all framed by Pope Francis’ encyclical, Dilexit Nos.

We will conclude this time of prayer on June 11th by joining Catholics across the country in a historic consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart. Swipe through to see the full daily schedule.

Let us prepare our hearts to pray together as a community.

Pardon our dust! As our campus construction continues this summer, we want to make sure navigating our grounds remains as smooth and safe as possible for everyone.

Here are the key details you need to know for your next visit:

• Harvest Hill Entrance Closure: Beginning June 1, the Harvest Hill entrance (the entrance closest to the Rectory, on the western edge) will be closed for approximately three weeks.

• Best Route: Please use Inwood Road to reach the Church or Parish Commons.

• Harvest Hill Parking: The lot remains open! To access it, you can drive south around the east side of campus, or park on the north side and walk across the pedestrian bridge and plaza.

• Walk if You Can: If you live in the immediate neighborhood, please consider walking to campus to help ease our limited parking capacity during this time.

Parking spots on the west side of the church remain open during construction, including the handicap spaces.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and warm community spirit as we improve our campus infrastructure.

Huge congratulations to our Knights of Columbus, Saint Rita Council 11169! They have officially achieved 3-Star Council status for the 2025–2026 fraternal year.

This incredible milestone marks the first time in nearly a decade that our council has earned Star Council recognition, and it is the first time ever that they have reached the prestigious 3-Star level.

This historic accomplishment is a direct reflection of the dedication, commitment, and teamwork of every single member of the council. Thank you, Knights, for your continued service, faith, and leadership within our community!

Please reach out to Kyle Potts if you are a Catholic man in good standing & wanting to join this award-winning group at St Rita.

We are thrilled to share that our very own Facilities Operations Director, Steve Niles, was honored on Friday with the Work of Heart Award from The Catholic Foundation!

This award recognizes outstanding full-time employees in the diocese who demonstrate exemplary leadership and Christ-like service. If you have spent any time on our campus, you already know that Steve is absolutely terrific. He works tirelessly behind the scenes every single day to keep everything running smoothly.

This past year, Steve has gone above and beyond. On top of his massive daily responsibilities, he has expertly and gracefully navigated all the moving parts, logistics, and unique challenges that come with major campus construction. His dedication ensures that our community remains a safe, welcoming, and vibrant place to gather, even amidst the heavy machinery and hard hats.

Please join us in thanking Steve for his hard work, patience, and excellent leadership. We are so incredibly blessed to have him on our team. Congratulations, Steve!
