Join us at St. Rita Catholic Community for a solemn and beautiful celebration of All Souls’ Day. We will offer our annual Requiem Mass in memory of all the departed of our parish family.

The evening's liturgy will feature Tomás Luis de Victoria’s magnificent masterpiece, Missa pro defunctis a 4, bringing peace and prayerful remembrance through beautiful polyphony.

Join us in celebrating the lives of those who have passed. Our St. Rita Hispanic Ministry is creating a beautiful parish ofrenda (altar) in the church narthex, and we would love to include your family and friends.

How to participate: Submit a digital photo and the name of your loved one using the link below to have them remembered on our altar.

We were so excited to participate in the University of Dallas Ministry Fair!

Big thanks to Becca Leonard, our Coordinator of High School Youth Ministry, and Milena Molina, our Coordinator of Children’s Faith Formation, for representing St. Rita and sharing all the wonderful ways students can get involved in our parish community.

October is Respect Life Month. This weekend, October 24-25, the Catholic Pro-Life Community will be at every Mass at St. Rita.

They’re the Respect Life ministry of the Diocese of Dallas, and they serve moms and babies across North Texas: free pregnancy help at Bloom, mentor moms through Gabriel Angels, and healing retreats after abortion.

Stop by their table after Mass for a free giveaway, pro-life resources, and ways to get involved, from volunteering to joining their Life Partner monthly giving program.

Honor Your Loved Ones on Our All Souls Day Ofrendas

Would you like your deceased loved ones to be remembered and represented on our parish's Ofrendas for Dia de los Mu***os / All Souls Day?

How to participate:

• Bring a 3"x5" photo of your loved one to the Church by October 28th.
• Place your photo in one of the photo collection baskets in the Narthex.
• A member of our Care Ministries will place your photo in a frame to display on the altar tables.

The Ofrendas will be on display beginning the evening of October 28th through November 4th.

Please note: Photos will not be returned.

Pure joy, pure love. We are constantly inspired by the sincere and simple love these little ones have for Our Lord during Catechesis. It is a true privilege to walk this journey of faith with them.

Five meetings in, and ENCOUNTER Middle School Ministry is thriving!

With over 100 middle schoolers and 30 dedicated volunteers filling the room, each week is packed with energy, team sports, and group games. (Ask your middle schooler about Bear, Ninja, Cowboy or Song or Psalm!)

Beyond the games, our students are building a strong foundation in their Faith. So far, we have explored:

- What Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium mean for us
- How the Canon of Scripture was put together
- The four senses of Biblical interpretation

Every meeting wraps up with 30 minutes in small groups, giving students a welcoming space to unpack big questions and build lifelong Christian friendships.

We are so grateful for our leadership team and every student showing up with so much enthusiasm!

On Sunday, October 11th, our wonderful children preparing for their sacramental journey had a very special visitor! We were blessed to welcome Deacon Bob McDermott, who spent an inspiring and joyful time talking with all the children about the Sacrament of First Reconciliation.

Deacon Bob shared beautiful insights on the true meaning of this wonderful sacrament, reminding us of God's infinite love and mercy.

As these precious children continue walking in God’s Divine Will toward this milestone, we lovingly ask our entire parish community to keep them and their families in your prayers!
