We're getting ready for Youth Ministry!

This week, 30 incredible adult volunteers and 9 high school volunteers gathered to prepare for another year of Middle School and High School Ministries.

We're grateful for each person who is generously giving their time, faith, and energy to help our young people encounter Christ and build lasting community. Please keep these volunteers and all of our students in your prayers as the new ministry year begins.

Our American Heritage Girls were all smiles during a recent Ministry Spotlight Sunday at St. Rita! After Mass, troop members welcomed parishioners in the Narthex, shared information about the program, and answered questions from families interested in learning more.

American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered program that helps girls grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, develop leadership skills, and serve their communities. We loved seeing these young ladies representing their troop and sharing their enthusiasm with our parish family.

Thank you to the girls, leaders, and volunteers who helped make the Ministry Spotlight a success and introduced more families to this wonderful ministry!

This past weekend, members of St. Rita's Stephen Ministry attended an advanced training event in Plano alongside Stephen Ministers from across Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Participants heard presentations from the founder, executive director, and teaching team of Stephen Ministries International on topics including empathy, grief, mental health, cancer care, and supporting full-time caregivers.

Through ongoing education and training, our Stephen Ministers continue to strengthen the skills that help them provide high-quality Christian care to those who are hurting, grieving, or facing life's challenges.

Being a sponsor is one of the most meaningful ministries in our parish. If you have a heart for sharing your faith and accompanying others, we would love to see you there. Come learn more about how you can be part of this sacred work.

Our brothers and sisters in Colombia are in desperate need of our prayers and support following the devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck on August 10, killing hundreds and leaving thousands more injured or missing.

This weekend, St. Rita will hold a special collection for earthquake relief. Your generosity will help us make a meaningful donation to support families who have lost their homes, their loved ones, and their communities.

If you are unable to attend Mass this weekend, you can also give online:

Please keep the people of Colombia in your prayers.
