For Trinity Sunday, we shared John Donne’s Holy Sonnet XIV—a fierce and beautiful prayer to the “three-person’d God” who does not merely improve us, but makes us new.

🔥Pentecost is the feast of holy fire and holy breath.

The Spirit comes not as spectacle, but as gift, drawing scattered people into one body, giving courage to weary hearts, and sending the Church into the world with mercy, truth, and joy.

Come, Holy Spirit.
Kindle in us the fire of your love.

This summer, we’re partnering with Art House Dallas and Central Commons to launch a new study. We'll be gathering for Origin: On Joy & Delight — a relaxed discussion group exploring Christian joy through Scripture, theology, poetry, visual art, and good conversation.

We’ll meet at 7:00 PM at Westside Coffee on:

- July 15
- August 12

Come with curiosity, questions, and a willingness to wonder together.

St. Luke is building a float for the Highland Park 4th of July Parade—and we need a crew to help make it fun, creative, and parade-ready. 🇺🇸

Whether you’re good with tools, design, decorating, logistics, music, snacks, or just bringing good energy, there’s a place for you on the team.

We’ll kick off float-building on Monday, July 1 at , then roll out together for the parade on July 4, 2026.

Come help us create something joyful, neighborly, and a little unforgettable.

With joy and gratitude, we celebrated the ordination of Shannon and Andrew Ames Fuller to the priesthood last Thursday. They were ordained by Bishop Brian Wallace as priests in the Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others, with Bishop Alex Cameron present as they prepare to transition into the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh this summer. We also give thanks for Andrew’s installation as a Canon Missioner in the North American Lutheran Church by Bishop Dan Selbo.

It was a holy and beautiful evening: a sign of Christ’s faithfulness, the Church’s shared life, and the quiet courage of those called to serve at the altar and in the world. Across Anglican and Lutheran lines, we caught a glimpse of the wider household of God: many streams, one Lord, one table, one mission.

Shannon and Andrew, we give thanks for you. May your priestly ministry be rooted in prayer, sustained by grace, and offered always for the sake of others.

You are not an interruption at St. Luke's. You and your children are deeply welcomed.

Our Nursing Mothers Room is now available in the Central Commons Office, between the sanctuary and the Children’s Chapel. And you'll be able to hear the sermon while you care for your baby.

For moms who need a quiet, comfortable place to nurse, feed, or simply take a breath with their little one, we hope this space offers a bit of ease and care.

Yesterday we celebrated the baptism of Leo and Camila Joaquim in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit 🤍

Lord, surround Leo and Camila with your love all the days of their lives, and guide them to walk in Your light as they are raised up in the family of believers.

When “this feels like home” begins to turn into “I’m ready to belong.”

Our Membership Class is a chance to spend time together, hear more about the story and life of this church, and consider what it might mean to put down roots here.

We'll enjoy a thoughtful morning of conversation, clarity, and welcome.
