🙏🏽 A Back-to-School Prayer from True Vine Missionary Baptist Church 📚✏️🍎

As our scholars, teachers, administrators, and school staff return for another school year, True Vine Missionary Baptist Church pauses to cover each of you in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of a new school year and for every scholar, teacher, administrator, and staff member stepping back into our schools.

Lord, go before them. Cover every campus, classroom, hallway, cafeteria, bus, playground, office, and activity. Place Your hedge of protection around every school and everyone who enters its doors.

Father, we pray for our scholars. Give them wisdom, understanding, confidence, discipline, and a desire to learn. Help them recognize the gifts You have placed within them. When the work becomes difficult, give them perseverance. When they feel discouraged, remind them that they are capable, valuable, and created with purpose.

We pray for our teachers. Give them patience, strength, creativity, compassion, and renewed passion for the calling to educate and inspire. When their days become challenging, replenish them. Allow them to see that the seeds they plant today can produce fruit for generations to come.

We pray for our administrators and school leaders. Grant them wisdom to make sound decisions, courage to lead with integrity, compassion for those entrusted to their care, and discernment in every situation.

Lord, we pray for peace and safety in our schools. Protect our children and educators from danger and surround them with people who will encourage, uplift, and support them.

May this be a year of learning, growth, achievement, opportunity, favor, and success. Most importantly, may our scholars remember that wherever they go, God goes with them.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” ~ Proverbs 16:3

Pastor-Elect Glen Boyd truly blessed our hearts on yesterday! 🙌🏽💚

We are still feasting on the powerful Word God gave him: "He Laid His Hands on Me" from Luke 13:10–13..

In Luke 13, Jesus encountered a woman who had been crippled and bent over for 18 years. She couldn't straighten herself, no matter how hard she tried. Then Jesus called her to Him, laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and began glorifying God.

That same message speaks to us today.

Some of us may not be bent over physically, but we've been bent over by life:

Bent over by hurt.
Bent over by grief.
Bent over by disappointment.
Bent over by rejection.
Bent over by fear.
Bent over by stress.
Bent over by depression.
Bent over by the weight of life's burdens.

The beautiful truth is that one touch from Jesus can change everything!

When the Lord lays His hands on you:
✨ What was broken can be restored.
✨ What was heavy can be lifted.
✨ What had you bound can be loosed.
✨ What kept you bowed down can no longer keep you there.

The same Jesus who straightened that woman over 2,000 years ago is still in the business of touching lives today. No matter how long you've carried your burden, His touch has the power to transform your life.

"And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God." ~ Luke 13:13 (KJV)

If you missed this message, you missed a powerful reminder that when Jesus lays His hands on you, everything changes!

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday to Our August Birthdays! 🎂🎉

On behalf of Pastor-Elect Glen Boyd and your True Vine Missionary Baptist Church Family, we extend our warmest birthday wishes to each of our members celebrating during the month of August!

We thank God for the precious gift of your life and for the unique blessings you bring to our church family. As you celebrate another year, may the Lord continue to cover you with His grace, strengthen you with His power, and surround you with His unfailing love.

Our prayer is that this new year of life will be filled with God's favor, divine health, abundant peace, overflowing joy, and countless opportunities to witness His goodness. May He grant the desires of your heart as you continue to walk faithfully in His purpose.
