“If we don’t maintain a quiet time each day, it’s not really because we are too busy; it’s because we do not feel it is important enough.”

We find time for what we’ve decided matters. And Jesus, who had crowds waiting, sick people to heal, and a world to save, got up while it was still dark and went where no one could find Him. (Mark 1:35)

If the Son of God carved out that time, we’re not above needing it.

A Quiet Time is uninterrupted, worshipful time alone with the Lord. Prayer, Scripture, journaling or simply enjoying His presence.

Big news for Kingdom Focus Coaching!

As our ministry grew, we felt God leading us to rent a facility, and He pointed us straight to a small local church near my house: First Baptist Hebron.

Reconnecting there, we caught up with pastor Steve Smith (an old friend and fellow minister from Prestonwood), who shared that he was heading into retirement and searching for a new pastor.

Through prayer, Scripture, wise counsel, and more than a few steps of faith, God kept nudging Nathan and me to put our hats in the ring as a Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor duo.

Four months later, after countless interviews, committee meetings, prayers, and preaching in light of a call, the congregation voted “Yes.” We begin shepherding this church on August 2nd.

There’s so much more to this story than a caption can hold. But in perfect alignment with our fourth pillar, “to mobilize the church for Kingdom work,” we could not be more excited to love and serve this congregation with everything we have, and to finally have a home base for our growing ministry.

We cannot praise God enough. He truly does exceedingly, abundantly more than we could ask or think.
