North Texas Hindu Mandir Cordially Invites You to our 2026 Gyaan Yagna: "Untying Karmic Knots, Invoking Divine Strength"
The Board of Trustees and devotees of North Texas Hindu Mandir warmly invite you and your family to join us for a transformative weekend of devotion, scriptural wisdom, and spiritual renewal. As we transition from honoring our ancestors during Pitr Paksh into the sacred energy of Navratri, we gather for our weekend Gyaan Yagna to elevate our minds and deepen our spiritual practice.
We are honored to welcome Acharya Arun Gossai, Spiritual Leader of Bhuvaneshwar Mandir. Having completed rigorous formal study of Vedanta at the Sandeepany Sadhanalaya Ashram in Mumbai under the guidance of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda, Acharya Ji brings deep scriptural understanding and clear, practical insight into applying Vedic philosophy to modern life. In recognition of his dedicated leadership and service, he was bestowed the honored title of Dharma Samvardhak in 2023.
Event Schedule:
* Friday, October 9 | 7:00 PM – Bhajan Bhakti
We commence the weekend with an uplifting evening of devotional singing and Kirtan. Join us as we open our hearts through divine melodies, setting a reverent and energized atmosphere for the weekend ahead.
* Saturday, October 10 | 3:00 PM – Gyaan Yagna: Garuda Puran
Acharya Ji will lead a deep exploration into the profound teachings of the Garuda Puran. Far beyond its traditional context, this sacred text offers invaluable guidance on the nature of karma, the soul's journey, ethical living, and the path toward spiritual liberation.
* Sunday, October 11 | 11:00 AM – Gyaan Yagna & Navratri Commencement
We conclude our discourse on the Garuda Puran, marking the formal conclusion of the Pitr Paksh season. With minds purified and ancestors revered, we seamlessly step into the vibrant, cosmic energy of the Navratri season, invoking divine strength, protection, and auspicious beginnings.
