Most men want direction.
Few are willing to pay attention.
They ask God for clarity while ignoring the patterns already in front of them.
Pay attention to what consistently drains you.
Pay attention to what strengthens you.
Pay attention to the doors that keep closing and the opportunities that keep opening.
Life leaves clues.
God leaves signposts.
A directionless man rushes ahead and calls it faith.
A discerning man slows down long enough to notice what God is revealing.
Not every answer arrives as a lightning bolt.
Sometimes wisdom looks like observation.
Sometimes direction looks like a pattern.
The question isn’t always, “What is God saying?”
Sometimes it’s, “Have I been paying attention?”
