Many teenagers arrive at CampamentoTX feeling unsure of what to expect. In fact, one student shared that during her first year, she was so nervous she didn't plan to stay.

But after experiencing the joy of community, serving, and worship, she felt God moving and decided to stay. This decision led to her being baptized by her grandfather at the end of the camp week.

Live in the DFW Area? 📍On Sept. 19, we will host a local, hands-on mission project for children for National WMU's Children's Misison Day!

🔸 When: Sept. 19 at 9:00 AM

🔸 Where: WMU of Texas, 10325 Brockwood Rd., Dallas, Texas 75238

🔸 Project: Children will make and decorate "We prayed for you" cards and attach them to special snack packs.

🔸 Mission: Once finished, groups are invited to visit a local police station, fire station, or hospital to deliver the treats and pray over our community members.

Through a wonderful partnership with Buckner International's Family Hope Center and your gifts to the Texas Missions Offering, WMU of Texas volunteers build a new home annually for a family in need in South Texas.

But this project is about so much more than lumber, drywall, and nails. It's an opportunity to build hope.

In 2025, our build site became a safe haven for a young boy from the neighborhood. Despite a difficult home environment, he found comfort, safety, and a welcoming community with our team.

By the end of the project, he accepted Christ as his Savior. 🙌

When a wheelchair-bound homeowner had no one else to turn to, a team of Bounce Student Disaster Recovery students, now a ministry of Texans on Mission, arrived to paint her house, build her a new porch, and serve as a direct answer to her prayers.
