We are so thankful to have CHRISTOPHER SH*TEMI in our home in Kenya!

He was born an orphan 4 yrs of age in Shinyalu village in Kakamega County, Kenya. He lived with his grandfather who was too old to work to provide for him. They lived in poverty after the sudden death of His father and abandonment by his mother. Rescued by the good Samaritan, he was found sick with a di protein malnutrition. He was born the youngest child of three siblings on the date of 26th April 2014. Raised by an orphaned mother who used to live in prostitution so as to earn a living and survive. Elkana Kipnyetich was raised in a poor a deprived society in Mosor Village in Keiyo county, Kenya. Found malnourished and sick without health attention he was rescued and brought to church. Hi friends! MY CHILD CHILDERN’S HOME
PRAYER MOUNTAIN: The facility is a home to 5 children, but still growing in numbers. Currently the home has 3 boys and 2 girls from vulnerable backgrounds. We can’t wait to share all of their stories! This picture was taken on our first trip to Kenya for our breaking of the ground in 2013!

Our hearts are forever bursting with thankfulness for God’s blessing on our work in Kenya

Meet Junior.
Junior WAS an orphan. He had no family and was in a remote area of Kenya such that he doesn't even speak the national language Swahili, only a tribal language.

Now Junior has a family. He lives in the children's home built together with Hearts Afire and My Child Ministries. This home is and each of the future Children's Homes will be a family unit with a set of parents and 6-8 children.

You can be a part of this and live out what the Bible says...

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. -James 1:27

We wanted to share some recent updated photos with you of the orphanage! We are so thankful to have been able to fully fund connecting water to the orphanage. We have had water issues for over a year and excited to have found a solution. Thank you for your support and continue to keep us and the future orphans who will fill this home in your prayers!

Absolutely blown away with how beautiful the first home of our orphanage project looks! We are so proud to have partnered with Hearts Afire and our incredible donors to make this first home reality. All praise to God, who will fill this home with love and show the little children the power of their Heavenly Father.
