Today at Global Light International Church, we had the beautiful privilege of celebrating and blessing Mise & Marie as they mark 10 years of marriage.

Ten years of choosing one another. Ten years of growing, building, overcoming, learning, forgiving, laughing, praying, and walking this journey together.

Marriage is more than counting years; it is the testimony of two people who continue to say “yes” to covenant.

As a church family, we honor this beautiful milestone and pray that the God who has sustained them through this first decade will take them into even greater years of love, peace, friendship, purpose and Kingdom impact.

Happy 10th Anniversary, Mise & Marie.

Apostle Mark gave such a powerful illustration this morning:

You cannot go to baggage claim expecting to pick up a bag you never checked in.

When you travel and check in a bag, you arrive at your destination with a consciousness: “I have something waiting for me.” You have a claim because you made a deposit. Anyone who goes to baggage claim and takes what they never checked in is simply taking what does not belong to them.

And there is a Kingdom principle in that.

Sometimes we want to claim what we have never committed. We want Kingdom results without Kingdom surrender. We want the inheritance without the investment, the harvest without the seed, the resurrection without first dying to self.

So the question becomes:

What have you actually left for Jesus?

Jesus said, “There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother… for my sake, and the gospel’s, but he shall receive an hundredfold…” — Mark 10:29–30

There are beautiful Kingdom inheritances available to us, but maturity determines our capacity to walk in them.

You cannot keep everything and follow Jesus everywhere.

There are things you must leave.
There are things you must be leaving.
And eventually, there must be things you can look back at and say, “I left that because I chose Christ.”

Before asking, “What can I claim?” perhaps the deeper Kingdom question is:

“What have I checked in?”

Apostle Mark is bringing the Word this morning with “THY KINGDOM COME — Part 2.”

This is more than a prayer we recite; it is a call for God’s rule, God’s will, God’s order and God’s authority to become visible in our lives.

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10

The Word is going forth at Global Light this morning. May His Kingdom come in us before it comes through us.

The house was alive, hearts were lifted, and we gave God the praise He deserves. There is something powerful about a church that knows how to celebrate the goodness of God.
