What a MAD weekend of March Madness!!
Our current standings as we head to the Final Four is:
1. Darren Stass (Duke as Champ)
2. Our Director of Development, Belinda Ferrari (Duke)
3. It is a 5 way tie, so we will highlight the only one with a team still alive: Jonny Perez (Michigan)

Brett Wallar, James Sears, Edward Stass, & Katherine Chowdhary all have Arizona winning it all. Rebecca Davis has Michigan.

So after the first weekend of play, let’s take a look at the leaderboard:
In a tie for 3rd place - Brett W. and James S.
In 2nd place - Jonny P.
And on top of the leaderboard - Edward S.

Congrats to Edward, Jonny, James, and Brett! We have 2 more weekends until we can crown a champion! Stay Tuned!

Ready for a ?

A few years ago a couple bought a home. Things were going pretty well, and then all of a sudden a massive rainstorm came through eastern Kentucky. This created flooding and mudslides down the hills and mountains in the area. Unfortunately, FEMA has told families that they will not be assisting in rebuilding homes or, in many cases, lives.

While this sweet family has been displaces, trying to make their home livable - basic functions like plumbing and electrical systems were destroyed in the flood - Catholic Mission Trips, Inc has been blessed to assist as much as we can. We currently have a group of seminarians from Kenrick Glennon Seminary on site, helping rebuild this families home. While we are committed to assisting families and regions for as long as we are needed, we do need assistance financially to be able to continue this work.

Saint Pope John Paul II said, "Some give to the missions by going. Some go to the missions by giving. Without both, there are no missions." Will you donate today to continue the work happening in Jenkins, Kentucky? In Black Mountain, NC? In Peru? In areas of chronic poverty? In areas devastated by natural disasters?

We invite you to Offer it Up this Lent - whatever vice you gave up for Lent, please consider donating the funds you are saving to support the work of Catholic Mission Trips!

We have a group of seminarians that have begun a 3 week mission trip to Jenkins, KY. Please keep these young men in your prayers as they do great work! We look forward to sharing more information and photos of the work they are doing in the days and weeks ahead - but here is quick preview of some of the work they completed today!
