Dear Mustangs:

One more week of classes! It’s been a great academic year – expanding our minds in the classroom and beyond, welcoming new leadership, and celebrating two ACC championships.

This edition of OCRL e-news invites you to reflect on this year. Where did you experience delight or pain? How did you grow – professionally and spiritually? What broke your heart? Who brought you unexpected joy? In August, the Office of the Chaplain and Religious Life set out to cultivate joy on The Hilltop. Below, you’ll see glimpses of the joy offered in religious community, in evenings of art, dancing and comedy, and in wandering across Mississippi learning from painful history.

Summer is upon us and it’s time to wander! I hope the next few months offer each of you meaningful work experience, re-creation, rest, and deep joy! Wherever you wander this summer, we trust you’ll wander back to The Hilltop in the Fall. See you then!
