We’re on track to mobilize more short-term missionaries this year than ever before🙌

These trips are a refreshing opportunity to interact with people, pray with them, share the gospel, and partner with our missionaries as they serve among unreached people groups.

In the first photo, a high school team serving with Global Gates played soccer and frisbee with locals before gathering with them to pray and share the gospel.

We love getting to celebrate stories like this from the field! What a joy to see God’s faithfulness and the fruit of months of daily discipleship:

“During a mission trip to Northern Iraq in October 2025, we met a 19-year-old young man named “M” and shared the gospel with him. Since then, we have remained in daily contact to share God’s word, pray, and disciple him.

“M” has given his life to Christ and is now seeking baptism. As we prepare to return to Northern Iraq in the next few weeks, we may have the opportunity to baptize him.

Please pray for “M”, his family who are still Muslim, and for God’s presence to be evident in his life. We will also meet his parents during this trip, so please pray for that interaction as well.”

As July comes to a close, we want to say thank you! Earlier this month, by God’s grace, more than 150 missionaries, family members, and staff gathered for G3, our biennial Global Gates gathering. After 46 years in ministry, the last 3 as our Executive Director, Dr. Chuck Register has announced he’ll be retiring no later than June 30, 2027.

In the meantime, Chuck will keep faithfully leading Global Gates and our Impact 2027 plan through this transition. But our Board has already begun seeking who the Lord has for us next.

We’re praying for a leader who loves Jesus and has a heart for the nations — someone ready to carry Global Gates into its next chapter.
