Lily of the Valley Community Outreach Reaching Out to the Global Community When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?

Lily of The Valley Community Outreach (LOTVCO) is a faith based 501C(3) non-profit, non-denominational organization that promotes the message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and shares our Christian values through entrusted missionary works and community services both locally and globally. Our missionary works include spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world and caring for the

spiritual well being of His sheep. Our community services include but not limited to feeding the homeless, employment assistance, and providing transportation to individuals and families in time of need.

“With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God” ESV 2001 Mark 10:27

…….For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ NIV Matt 25:31-40

Thank you for your interest and those who follow LOTV. Sorry that I don't post much or keep up with news and current events on FB. I'm technologically challenged, and need help from my wife, who rarely can find time these days with our 2 year old. LOL. But I will try harder going forward. :)

Please pray for Jerry. Recent homeless man in Dallas I met, among a few others, but he was the only taker to accept my advice to get off the streets and find shelter at Union Gospel Mission in Dallas. We all know the real enemy, so pray that he will not be tempted along the way, or get side tracked from getting back to where he should be. In Jesus name.

Testimony to share: Nov. 2021. Among the many folks we help in life, in Jesus name, one of them (known for 2 yrs), Richard, was released from prison for drug possession after 2 months. He actually felt he was doing better in prison because it gave him a roof over his head, 3 square meals, and a bed to sleep.

Imagine that, those were his real words. Its hard to understand unless you and I are in their shoes. Back then, I visited him in prison, and by regularly by phone, kept reminding him to let go of the past. With constant encouragement and prayers that he would be delivered from the evil one that's kept him with a spirit of rejection, low self-esteem, and addictions. No one knows the heart of men, except God, and I wasn't sure he was serious when he told me he wants to be a good person in Christ, and not go back to drugs and friends in bad company.

Praise God that he's found a new job cleaning offices, and cleared all background checks. He told me earlier, it was the best job he's ever had. LOL. His manager gives him ride to work, and a kind stranger took him in so he has a roof over his head, in exchange for being a house help. And he actually started attending worship with my family. Is our God great or what? :) Thank you Lord. Yes, don't give up on people. Give God a chance.

Hi everyone, it's again. This time, Dave Lo had an opportunity to share how can the man be the spiritual leader of the family. Check it out.

While the Bible clearly affirms the equality of men and women (see Galatians 3:28), it also tells us plainly that God has assigned the responsibility of spiritual leadership in the home to husbands: “Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them” (Colossians 3:18-19).
Naturally, there is a great deal of controversy in the church today surrounding the precise meaning of these words. Some husbands wonder, “What am I supposed to do – act like a preacher?” Some wives ask, “Why is he supposed to be the only spiritual leader? Why can’t we both do it?” In the end, it all comes down to a very simple and fundamental truth: families need leaders. The buck has to stop somewhere if the household is to function smoothly and efficiently.
It’s important to remember here that a difference in roles doesn’t mean “unequal.” God doesn’t consider wives inferior, inadequate, less important, or less responsible than husbands. Besides, only an unwise man would reject his wife’s opinions and assistance. After all, the Lord has created her to be his best earthly resource.

Dave Lo had an opportunity to share "Biblical Strategies for Success" on The Jennifer Sheehan Show. Check it out!!!
Many people do not realize what the Bible says about success until it is too late. While there is nothing wrong with working hard and enjoying the fruits of our labor, sometimes we forget that each of us as believers are called to a holy vocation.
Many people put a lot of time into being successful. For many people, success is the attainment of prosperity or popularity. In the end, they realize that success is not the things the world says it should be. Success, is having life itself and having it abundantly for an eternity. We have but a finite time upon this earth so we must be very careful in how we use our time. It is with an eternal mindset that we must always be about the work of the Lord until such time as he calls us home. For it is by our faith in Christ by which He grants us our rewards and success. This success and inheritance is kept by God until such time as He calls us home – a time that is so precious in His sight. Until then, our work is but that of a servant.
For we have but a finite time upon this earth so we must be very careful in how we use our time (Ephesians 5:14-16).

Sadly, many people do not realize what the Bible says about success until it is too late. While there is nothing wrong with working hard and enjoying the fru...
