Community of Christ Gateway Mission Center Our Mission Center consists of 15 Community of Christ congregations in both Missouri and Illinois. We invite you to worship with us in one of our congregations.

The Community of Christ Gateway Mission Center consists of 16 congregations in East and Central Missouri and Western Illinois. We are one in community with our fellow Community of Christ Mission Centers across the world. We join ecumenical efforts and strive for community with all people of faith. We are one in our belief in the worth of every person and the value of every soul in God’s sight. All

are called to develop their gifts for service to Christ and to others. While we share common beliefs, our individual congregations vary in their practices. Some congregations are rural, others are urban; some congregation use praise music, others use a mixture of praise and traditional Christian music. All are welcome!

Linda L. Booth
Linda was the founding editor of Kansas City Parent Magazine, editor of Olathelife, a Public Relations Specialist for the University of Kansas Regents Center, Public Relations Director for Olathe Public Schools, and Director of Community of Christ Communications. She has served on multiple boards, such as the president of the Longview Farm HOA, vice-president of Overland Park Rotary Club, Olathe United Way, and Ronald McDonald House.

Matthew Crimmins
Matt is an attorney who practices with his wife, Ginnie, at the Crimmins Law Firm located just off Independence Square. Matt has been a practicing attorney since 2001 and has had a varied practice representing both individuals and companies in the defense and prosecution of civil claims.

Please note an interfaith Red Mass is being sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Belleville and Chief Judge Andrew Gleeson of the 20th Judicial Circuit. The Red Mass marks the opening of the Judicial term in the United States and celebrates the civic unity of professionals from all faith traditions who serve the cause of justice in our land.

It’s September – a new beginning for both students AND the Peace Pavilion! Educators know there is a definite connection between reading and leadership, improving focus and critical thinking, building understanding of different perspectives, expanding vocabulary and communication skills, and reducing stress levels.

The Peace Pavilion is doing its part to teach peacemaking and conflict resolution skills in a fun, interactive environment. Those skills help improve mental well-being and social values, reduce aggression, and promote inclusive collaboration – skills which help them find success in their future careers.
