The Dallas Christian Leadership Prayer Breakfast exists to honor our Lord Jesus Christ by annually dedicating one morning to the encouragement of leaders.

The Dallas Christian Leadership Prayer Breakfast exists to honor our Lord Jesus Christ by annually dedicating one morning to the encouragement of leaders in all walks of life through prayer, music, reading of scripture and the personal testimony of believers, with the goal of making prayer for leaders a priority in our lives. Founded in 1981 by prominent Dallas Christian leaders including Tom Land

ry, Ford Madison, Jack W. Evans and Bill Seay, the breakfast, which each spring attracts over 1,500 people, has grown into one of the nation’s largest lay led, leadership-focused gatherings. The breakfast’s adherence to scripture’s call to pray for leaders and our nation (2 Chronicles 7:14) has helped to add a powerful dimension to the prayer lives of thousands of attendees, and it has attracted nationally prominent speakers from the arenas of business, politics, sports and public service.

Darren Woodson is often recognized as one of the greatest players to wear a Dallas Cowboys uniform. In his 12 seasons (1992-2004) with the Cowboys, he retired as the Cowboys’ All-Time Leading Tackler with 1,350 career stops. In 2015, Woodson was inducted into the prestigious Cowboys “Ring of Honor.” He was also named to the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame (2009) and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame (2017)🏈

Transitioning from the NFL to a post-playing career is not easy for most athletes —but Woodson has found consistent success. After his storied football career, his entrepreneurial spirit led him into commercial real estate. In 2017, Woodson joined Esrp Advisory Dallas, LLC (“esrp”). Located at the Dallas Cowboys’ World Headquarters - The Star - esrp is a tenant and buyer focused commercial real estate company assisting clients in over 40 countries🏘

Woodson was a force to be reckoned with on the field, and the same can be said of him off the field because of his faith and his family values.
