this Saturday is the World Day against the Death Penalty. All are invited to a vigil from 12-2 at the Mockingbird Bridge.

Join us on October 10 for the World Day Against the Death Penalty — a global call to defend human dignity. This year’s observance comes as many reel from the botched ex*****on of Christa Pike in Tennessee, where 2 lethal injections not only failed to kill her, but left her hospitalized, intubated and breathing through a ventilator, raising urgent questions about cruelty, inhumane punishment and the violence carried out in our name. We invite you to gather in solidarity, mourn injustice, and imagine a safer, more humane future for every community.
