Blessings and prayers for Earth Day today. Today we remember our calling to preserve and protect, to steward the air, water, and ecosystems around us, in the face of pollution and global warming. In a world at war where oil is a weapon, may we find sustainable ways to flourish together.

Worship this Sunday reflected on Pilate's confrontation with the crowd, and the antisemitic consequences of John blaming 'the Jews'

Every year Peace Mennonite does an NCAA bracket game as a fundraiser for Mennonite Central Committee. The way it works is you donate based on how many picks you miss- a nickle for each in the 1st round, a dime in the second, and so on. At the end, you donate something around $5 if you did well, $7 if you did poorly (feel free to add a zero or 2 to raise the stakes). If you'd like to join the men's group it's here: https://picks.cbssports.com/college-basketball/ncaa-tournament/bracket/pools/kbxw63b2ge3denjugyyto===/join?pool-join-key=8M0Ud85S2TZ7gAvm9q2VwLcu0Iq70WgT&ttag=BPM26_and_cbsinvm and the
women's bracket is here:

Reflecting on the violence in Iran, we remember MCUSA's 2015 statement on modern warfare, destruction marked by drones, lack of congressional oversight, and no clear front lines or distinction between military and civilian targets, and we continue to pray for peace
