Come join us this holy week!
Palm Sunday message summary:
Palm Sunday is a day of celebration also called the Triumphal entry where Jesus arrives in Jerusalem for the Passover Feast! This celebration begins Holy week by announcing the arrival of the Messiah. The message of Palm Sunday will be focused on answering the question who is the Messiah? We hear Jesus referred to as the "Messiah" often, in the pulpit, sometimes in conversation and of course in the Gospels themselves. We will look at passages like Zachariah 9:9 among others which demonstrate that Jesus is doing and saying specific things which identify Him as the Messiah promised by God in the Old Testament.
Good Friday message summary:
Good Friday is the moment during Holy week when believers remember and reflect on Jesus' death by crucifixion. The message will focus on the questions why did Jesus have to die, and what did His death accomplish?
Easter Sunday Message summary:
Easter Sunday is a return to the celebratory effervescence which began the previous Sunday with the Lord's arrival in Jerusalem. This is the Lord's triumph, the day of God's victory and the vindication of His Son. Jesus is alive! The Easter Sunday message will focus on the questions why does the resurrection of Jesus change everything, and what has our Lord accomplished through this victory?
