I know that Rosh Hashana is a time that we celebrate a new year as we are heading into the year 5785 which means to look or behold from the Hebrew word "hey" I feel the need more than ever that America needs to repent and pray and return to the Father, in my time of prayer I heard the Father say He is soon to come that the day of the Lord is near, I heard the words, "Who shall be able to stand, My day is coming who shall be able to stand in that day?" The days that we are going into concerning Rosh Hashana up to Yom Kippur are crucial, and our stance as a nation will determine whether or not we will walk into utter disaster and calamity. I hear the Father say again, "O America, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven" We are entering into the valley of decision, and what we decide next will determine what the Lord does next.
We as the people of God have allowed ourselves to be dictated by the cry of the culture long enough and it is time to return to the Lord while there is time. I had a dream concerning the recent celestial events that I knew nothing of and behind those events, His return was almost immediate. Of course, no man knows when He is coming back but I know the dream was to serve as a warning that time is shorter than we can imagine, and in the dream, (which I'll detail at another time), there was both excitement and joy, as well as fear and dread at His return. America, do not become desolate! Return to the Father, He says, "Return unto me and I will return unto you" I leave you with the parts of Joel chapters 1 & 2 that He highlighted in my spirit.
Consecrate a fast,
Call a sacred assembly;
Gather the elders
And all the inhabitants of the land
Into the house of the LORD your God,
And cry out to the LORD.
Alas for the day!
For the day of the LORD is at hand;
It shall come as destruction from the Almighty.
Is not the food cut off before our eyes,
Joy and gladness from the house of our God?
The seed shrivels under the clods,
Storehouses are in shambles;
Barns are broken down,
For the grain has withered.
How the animals groan!
The herds of cattle are restless,
Because they have no pasture;
Even the flocks of sheep suffer punishment.
O LORD, to You I cry out;
For fire has devoured the open pastures,
And a flame has burned all the trees of the field.
The beasts of the field also cry out to You,
For the water brooks are dried up,
And fire has devoured the open pastures.
Blow the trumpet in Zion,
And sound an alarm in My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble;
For the day of the LORD is coming,
For it is at hand:
A day of darkness and gloominess,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,
Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains.
A people come, great and strong,
The like of whom has never been;
Nor will there ever be any such after them,
Even for many successive generations.
“Now, therefore,” says the LORD,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the LORD your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.
Who knows if He will turn and relent,
And leave a blessing behind Him—
A grain offering and a drink offering
For the LORD your God?
Blow the trumpet in Zion,
Consecrate a fast,
Call a sacred assembly;
Gather the people,
Sanctify the congregation,
Assemble the elders,
Gather the children and nursing babes;
Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber,
And the bride from her dressing room.
Let the priests, who minister to the LORD,
Weep between the porch and the altar;
Let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD,
And do not give Your heritage to reproach,
That the nations should rule over them.
Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where is their God?’ ”
