This morning, Pastor Chris opens God's Word to Acts 16:6–40, where we see the sovereign grace of God at work as the Gospel enters Philippi. Through closed doors, unexpected opportunities, transformed lives, and even suffering, Christ is faithfully building His church through the power of the Gospel. As we worship together, we pray that the Lord would remind us that His mission does not ultimately depend on us. Christ is building His church, His Gospel is advancing, and He graciously invites us to join Him in the work.

This morning, Pastor Chris begins our new sermon series, The Grace of Giving, a journey through 2 Corinthians 8–9 centered on the truth that Grace Received = Grace Extended.

We begin in 2 Corinthians 8:1–9 with a message titled “Grace Produces Generosity.” Together, we'll see that Biblical generosity is not ultimately about money; it is about worship. The grace of Jesus Christ transforms His people to treasure Him above all things and, by the Spirit, to increasingly live with open hearts, open hands, and surrendered lives for the glory of God and the good of others.

This August, kids will get to step right up and be the next contestant in learning that they are designed for a purpose with our Theme Next Up. Kids will see that, when we trust and follow Jesus, our purpose is to live, serve, trust, and love like Him.

📖🚀 Launching Our Summer Kids Bible Study!

We’re excited to begin our summer quarter in God’s Word with Explore the Bible! Starting this Sunday during the Sunday School hour (9:45–10:45 a.m.), our K–5th graders will embark on a 4-week journey through the book of Acts.

Together, we’ll discover how God used ordinary people to do extraordinary things through the power of the Holy Spirit and how He is still at work today!

We can’t wait to learn, grow, and explore Acts together!

What a great week at VBS! We learned that Jesus is the Light of the World, and we’re so thankful for all of our wonderful volunteers who helped make this week a success. Thank you for all you do!
