The YES Program- was established in 2000 to provide teens (ages 13-18) with SAT Preparation, Life Skills classes (Spiritual Growth, Sex Education, Etiquette and Grooming, Money Management, Career Development, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention, Health and Wellness and Community Services). The young men of YES participate in a special male mentoring event "Elijah's Cloak" where they engage in a week
end outdoor activity (fishing, camping, etc.) Youth are paid for the time spent in SAT Prep. They participate in graduation at conclusion of program that features a fashion show featruing the youth, public speaking and awards ceremony. The youth are awarded the casual outfits they modeled. Classes are conducted January to May each year. Level Playing Field Fitness- a new summer program for 2011 that will feature fun filled exercise activities for youth (3rd grade to 12th grade) at risk for childhood obesity. High School youth athletes will participate in intense fitness activities to prepare them for competition. SAT Preparation and life skills classes will also be offered. Tapestry Women's Ministry- will feature a book, "Healing Voices" that wil feature stories of women that have been victims of different forms of violence, but realize that they survived because of their faith in God. The ministry will also provide support and resources to abused women to give them the tools to help rebuild their lives.
