Wood Street Worship

Wood Street Worship WSW is a new, open and affirming community that meets downtown to explore what it means to love our neighbors.

We don’t expect you to have it all worked out when it comes to your spirituality. Courageously learn, grow, and explore your faith with people who are asking the same questions you are.

Maundy Thursday

Before everything unravels, there is a table.

Jesus kneels.
He serves.
He shares a meal with the very people who will misunderstand him, abandon him, and betray him.

And still, he loves them.

This is the shape of grace.

Join us tonight for a simple service of communion and reflection.

Due to inclement weather, we won’t be gathering this Sunday, January 25. Wood Street Worship, all programs, and the church campus will be closed for the day.

We can’t wait to be back together next Sunday. Until then, stay warm, stay safe, and take good care of each other.

Cheers to Pub Night! 🍻See you next month for more conversations in community! Save the date: Tuesday, 2.25!

We hope you’ve had a warm and meaningful Christmas! It was a gift to be together to light candles and remember that we are not alone, that God came to dwell among us. As we look toward a new year, we hold the hope of this season close.

Join us for worship and warmth every Sunday at 10!

Advent //
A season for holy mystery.
For dwelling in the now and the not yet.

Our Wood Street community has created this Advent devotional as a gift to us all as we move through this season.

These reflections are stories for waiting, poems for the liminal time, glimpses of the eternal. May these words, prayers and images guide your journey through this season of expectation.

Come get your copy tomorrow at worship + stay for the Advent Festival!

Grace meets us right here and now. God’s love greets us long before we can name or embrace it fully. We give thanks for baptism as an outward sign of God’s wholehearted grace and the reminder to all of us that we are made one in Christ.

We had the special honor of baptizing our dear friend Kyle and his daughter Ruby a few weeks ago. Thanks be to God!
