Dear Members,
It is time for our annual Decoration Day and Wheatland Cemetery Association meeting which has been scheduled for Sunday, May 7, 2023. The meeting will be held at 1:00 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall of the Wheatland United Methodist Church. The ladies of the church are fixing lunch for us. If possible, please RSVP to 972 298-1765 which will help them plan for the number attending.
Michael Hurtt, Cemetery Manager, will be at the Cemetery office around 10:30 A.M. to assist you in looking up records and updating his files. There will be refreshments at the office; so please come by and visit before the meeting.
The association is planning to have work done on the markers at the cemetery which will require a very large expense for the coming year. Your donations are always appreciated and will allow us to continue to maintain and improve the cemetery. Thank you in advance for your wonderful donations.
Let us remember that holiday flowers should be removed six (6) weeks after the holiday. Dead flowers will be removed. Seasonal flowers shall be changed with the seasons. Thank you for your help with the project that is being planned for the cemetery and ontinue to pray for the health and safety of our families and healing of our world.
