Church History Our local church was founded in the fall of 1928 on Booth Street, in Dallas, County Texas, at the home of Sister Mable V. She is a pioneer and charter member who is credited with naming it Hopewell – “hoping it well.”

Hopewell, what an amazing time we had celebrating Mother’s Day at church yesterday! God’s presence in worship was powerful, and the love and joy in the room was overflowing. We are so thankful for every mother and mother figure who continues to pour love, strength, wisdom, and faith into their families and communities. Pastor Hubbard, our hearts are full, and we are encouraged, uplifted, and excited for all God is doing! Thank you for the WORD! TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!
