Uptown Church will be launching in the fall of 2020 as the newest campus of Highland Park UMC!
For years, we believe that God has been calling our church to better serve the neighborhood of the Uptown area in Dallas. And that's exactly what we want to do. Uptown is true urban living, a place for people who want the accessibility and culture of the city and the connectivity and community of a neighborhood. We will be a campus for Uptown and for Dallas, here to help anyone and everyone grow closer to God.
We will not be your average church. We will host worship at the House of Blues on Sundays and will meet in local coffee shops, restaurants, condos, etc. for various touchpoints throughout the week. This campus will focus on great worship, ongoing connection through community, and actively serving our city. We will be a congregation that asks questions about life and faith, hashes things out over good food, and is a place for anyone to belong.
Before walking to brunch somewhere in the neighborhood, we hope you will worship with us on Sunday mornings. And then we’ll see you on the Katy Trail, at Brewed+Pressed for coffee, or walking our dogs to Mutts Cantina.
We can’t wait to build a new church in the city, for the city.
