"I love them more."

Four words God spoke to my anxious heart one morning โ€” and they changed
the way I pray for my boys.

I'm a single mom. There was a season I was so worried about my sons' future
that I didn't realize my prayers had stopped being prayers of faith and had
turned into prayers of fear. Was I teaching them enough about God? Was I
making the right decisions? Was I leading them the way I should?

Then one morning while I was praying, I saw a picture I'd taken with my son.
Just our two hands, making a heart. And I heard in my heart: I love them more.

The weight lifted. God had them. He still does.

So in this video I share that story, and then we pray together โ€” 10 specific
prayers over our high school, college, and trade school students.

Grab your coffee. Say your child's name out loud. Let's pray over them together.

And if you're a parent watching your child walk away from God right now โ€”
there's a place in this for you too. He is not finished. Nothing can pluck
them out of His hand.

Drop your student's first name below and I'll pray for them by name. ๐Ÿ™

The teen years are big โ€” and so is our God. I prayed this over your middle and high schoolers today. ๐Ÿ’›

Parents, this one's for your big kids and for you โ€” for protection in those hallways, for faith that becomes their own, for them to know who God created them to be, and for wisdom in the letting-go years. Whether it's their first day of middle school or their very last first day, God goes before them.

If this blesses you, share it with a parent of a teen who needs it this week. ๐Ÿ™

Let me know in the comments: What grade is your big kid starting this year?

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. โ€” Deuteronomy 31:8

As you send your little one off to school, God is already there. ๐Ÿ’›

Mamas and daddies, I prayed this prayer over your children and over your hearts too โ€” for safety, for good friends, for the quiet ones to feel included, and for peace at drop-off when letting go feels hard. God is in that classroom, in that hallway, ahead of every first day.

If this blesses you, share it with a parent who's sending their baby off this week. ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ™

A couple of years ago, I was driving home after dropping Matthew at school, crying and arguing with God. "How can You say no? That's not fair."

I didn't realize I was praying the Lord's Prayer at that very moment.

Part 4 is up. We're on four words most of us say without thinking โ€” hallowed be Thy name โ€” and I found out they cost something. They cost me. And if you pray them, they'll cost you too.

Has God ever told you no, and later you understood why? I'd love to hear it. ๐Ÿ‘‡

I was crying in my car, telling God it wasnโ€™t fair.
What I didnโ€™t realize? I was praying a prayer I say almost every day โ€” one youโ€™ve probably prayed too. Four little words. And when I finally understood what they meant, it changed the way I pray.
New video drops Tuesday. Part 4 of The Lordโ€™s Prayer series: Hallowed Be Your Name. ๐Ÿ™

Until then, friend โ€” He hears every word. Even the whispered ones. Even the ones you canโ€™t find words for.

What are you trusting God with in this season? Tell me in the comments. ๐Ÿ™

I recorded this message a few summers ago, but the truth in it still stands: nothing is too difficult for God. Whatever you're carrying today, let it go and trust the One who never fails. ๐Ÿ’œ

Ever wondered if God's goodness depends on how your life is going right now? Before you answer, let's think about what it means to call God Father.
Luke has Jesus say "Father." Matthew has him say "Our Father in heaven." Same prayer โ€” so why the difference? Two audiences, two very different pictures of what a "father" was, and it changes everything about how you're meant to approach Him.
Watch to find out why โ€” and what it means for how you pray.

If you're in a hard season, you may not see it yet, but you are being strengthened. And single moms and dads โ€” there's a message for you too. ๐Ÿ’œ

This was just me and Milo on a raw morning walk, with a heart overflowing with gratitude. ๐Ÿพ Our AC went out this week in 90-degree heat, but God sent the right people, the right price, and the strength to push through.
I pray for you in this video.

And the next Lord's Prayer message drops later this weekend!

Happy Birthday, America! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Thankful for this nation and the freedom to love Christ, to stand for Him, to love my family, and to live free. I donโ€™t take it for granted.

Coming out of a 12-day fast, I shared a spontaneous reflection on how the small things of the world can dull our hunger for Godโ€”and ended in prayer. May this stir a deeper desire for Him in your heart.
