Today, I celebrate a man who had the faith to say "yes" to God.

After faithfully serving as a pastor in East Texas for more than 20 years, God gave Pastor Glen Boyd a new vision in June 2017, a vision that would become Greater Grace Temple Church. That divine vision became a reality in February 2018 when Greater Grace Temple Church was officially established. What began as a step of faith and obedience has flourished into a thriving ministry that has impacted countless lives through biblical preaching, sound teaching, compassionate service, and an unwavering love for God's people. Through every season, God has faithfully honored the vision, transformed lives and advanced His Kingdom for His glory.

Today, we thank God for those eight incredible years of ministry and for every soul that has been touched, every life that has been changed, and every prayer that has been answered through Greater Grace Temple Church. The foundation that was built was not in vain; it was built on faith, obedience, and a heart committed to God's will.

Now, God has opened another door.

We rejoice as Pastor Glen Boyd has accepted the call to serve as Pastor of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. This is not the end of one journey, but the continuation of God's divine plan. The same God who gave the vision for Greater Grace Temple has now entrusted him with another assignment to shepherd His people.

To every member of Greater Grace Temple, thank you for believing in the vision, standing through every season, serving with excellence, and helping build a ministry that will forever leave its mark. You are part of a legacy that cannot be erased.

To the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church family, congratulations! God has united a shepherd with a flock, and we are excited to witness all that He will do in this new season.

As Scripture reminds us:
"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven." — Ecclesiastes 3:1

Congratulations, Pastor Glen Boyd! Your labor has not been in vain. We honor your faithfulness, celebrate your obedience, and pray that God continues to enlarge your territory, strengthen your hands, and use you mightily for His glory.

Topic: “Your Storm Didn’t Come to Stay”

Scripture: Isaiah 43:1–7

Storms are an unavoidable part of life, but they are never meant to become our permanent dwelling place. In Isaiah 43, God speaks words of comfort and assurance to His people, reminding them that they belong to Him and that He will never abandon them. He doesn’t promise a life without trials, but He does promise His presence through every trial.

When the waters rise and the fires of adversity surround us, God declares, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” Notice He says when you pass through, not if, and not when you stay. The storm is a passage, not a destination. God’s presence is the difference between being overwhelmed by the storm and overcoming it.

This message encourages believers to trust God’s promises even when circumstances seem uncertain. Every storm has a purpose, to strengthen our faith, refine our character, and reveal God’s faithfulness. Because we are redeemed, called by His name, and precious in His sight, we can face every challenge with confidence, knowing that God is leading us through it.

Key Thought: The storm may have interrupted your journey, but it cannot stop God’s purpose for your life. Your storm didn’t come to stay, it came to pass, and God will bring you through it stronger, wiser, and with a greater testimony of His faithfulness.

Topic: "Hold on to Heaven When Hell is on Your Back"

Scripture: Job 1: 20-22

Life has a way of bringing moments when it feels as though everything is falling apart at once. Job experienced unimaginable loss, his children, his wealth, and his security were all taken from him in a single day. Yet, despite the overwhelming weight of grief and suffering, Job refused to let his pain separate him from God. Instead, he fell to the ground and worshiped.

This message reminds us that the greatest victory isn't always escaping the battle, it's remaining connected to Heaven while enduring the attacks of Hell. When the enemy is pressing from every side, our faith, worship, and trust in God become our lifeline. We may not understand why we're facing certain trials, but we can rest in the assurance that God is still sovereign, still present, and still worthy of our praise.

There will be seasons when Hell seems relentless, but Heaven's promises are greater than Hell's pressure. Like Job, we must refuse to allow our circumstances to dictate our confidence in God. Hold on to your faith, hold on to God's Word, hold on to your worship, and hold on to His promises. The same God who sustains you in the storm will strengthen you through it and bring you safely to the other side.

Key Thought: When Hell is on your back, don't let go of Heaven. Your worship, your faith, and your trust in God will carry you until your breakthrough comes.🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏

What a blessed day at the Ushers Annual Day Celebration at The Saint John Dallas!

We extend our sincere appreciation to Lead Pastor Bertrain Bailey, the Usher Ministry, and the entire Saint John Dallas church family for their warm hospitality and spirit of excellence.

Today's guest speaker, Pastor Glen Boyd delivered a powerful and encouraging message titled, "Stay with the Lord" from Romans 8:31-39.

Through this timely word, we were reminded that no matter the trials, challenges, disappointments, or opposition we may face, God is still with us. His love is steadfast, His promises are sure, and nothing can separate us from His love. The message encouraged us to remain faithful, stay committed, and continue walking with the Lord through every season of life.

What a mighty move of God at Greater Grace Temple Church today!

We were truly blessed by our guest speaker, Rev. Anthony Sweat, who preached a powerful and encouraging message titled, "He Deserves Our Worship" from Job 1:20-22.

In the midst of trials, losses, disappointments, and unanswered questions, Job demonstrated what true worship looks like. While circumstances changed, but your faith in God should not. This timely word reminded us that God is worthy of our worship not just when things are going well, but even in the difficult seasons of life.

Thank you, Rev. Anthony Sweat for allowing God to use you to encourage and strengthen His people. Our hearts were blessed, our spirits were lifted, and our faith is strengthened.
