Sixteen years ago, Royal Lane was removed from the Baptist General Convention of Texas because we chose to fully welcome and affirm our LGBTQ+ siblings in Christ, and we’ve never looked back!

Join us on Saturday, June 6, at the Dallas Pride Festival & Parade as we celebrate love, inclusion, and the beautiful diversity of God’s people. Visit the Royal Lane booth at Pacific Plaza ( 401 N Harwood St, Dallas, TX 75215) from 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., or use the QR code to sign up to help greet visitors on behalf of the church (linked below as well).

We’re also proud to celebrate that Paul J. Williams will serve as MC for the Dallas Pride Parade this year!

We hope you’ll come celebrate with us as we continue living out God’s radical welcome for all.

Last week, 50 women gathered for Daughters of Abraham. After we dismissed, it was time for our Muslim sisters to pray, and our Narthex truly became a place of prayer. It was a beautiful reminder of the sacredness of shared space, hospitality, and learning from one another.

Daughters of Abraham is a discussion group for women of the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths seeking to deepen understanding through conversation and community.

A heartfelt thank you to our scripture readers on Pentecost Sunday. Listening to scripture read in many languages in one powerful chorus was such a powerful part of our worship together.

Yesterday was our first church “Wild Wander” sponsored by the Justice & Advocacy Committee. Led by Rev. Dr. Clay Brantley, we shared liturgy and conversation, and spent time wandering in and wondering about God’s creation. More Wild Wanderings coming soon!
