My mom was a FIGHTER with an INCREDIBLY INSPIRING FAITH in God. Everyone she talked to knew how she loved to quote Jeremiah 32:27 — Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?

Nothing changed with her, no matter the diagnosis.

My mom loved hearing my brother sing "Oh, What a Meeting."

I can only imagine her stepping into eternity and hearing — "Well done, good and faithful servant."
Oh, what a meeting that must have been. 🤍

Grief seems to have hands that will grip your heart without warning.
This week I had good days. But my mom was my go-to for good news. And she was not here.
My mom is not here physically. But her witness is life-sized.
I go into this new week determined to not let my grief be BIGGER than my FAITH.

The invisible weight of grief slows you down in ways you never expected.
But my mom always said — "The Lord is..." whatever you need Him to be.

Momma always had time to pray for someone, provide a word of encouragement. There was always room for another person to love without taking anything away from her family.
That is a gift. And it lives on. 🤍

The paperwork. The phone calls. The moment you walk into a credit union to close a 50 year account and have to say the words out loud — again.
