I write like my grandmother hums—low, layered, and only when the house gets quiet enough to listen.

These poems?
They ain’t just art.
They’re altar.
They’re the sigh between trauma and triumph.
The rolled eyes of a Black woman who’s said “I’m fine” one too many times.
The journal entry Spirit dared me to share.

Each line is letting go.
Each word—a return.
I’m not writing to impress. I’m writing to release—for me, for mine, and for whoever still thinks healing gotta look like a vision board and chamomile tea.

Sometimes it looks like a curse word and a boundary.
Sometimes it sounds like your mama’s voice coming outta your own mouth.
And sometimes? It just is.

So here it is.
“Divine Tongue” — where my pen don’t whisper anymore.
It moans. It snaps. It prays. It dares you to feel.

Swipe through.
Save it.
Send it to your group chat.
Or just sit with it like you used to sit in your grandma’s kitchen, knowing something sacred was being stirred.

Let the words find you.
I ain’t chasing nobody.
The ones meant to feel this? Already on the way.

We will discuss topics that encourage deep thinking and critical thought processes. Open forum discussion with our facilitator Goddess Chriss. Creating a safe space of comfort in our community to have those uncomfortable conversations. Entry is only $11! Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
