Agape family and friends, as this week comes to a close, we invite you to join us in prayer.

Gracious God, we lift before You those who are sick, hospitalized, recovering, grieving, or carrying burdens known only to You. Bring healing where there is illness, comfort where there is grief, strength where there is weariness, and peace where there is uncertainty.

We pray for communities here at home and around the world affected by war, natural disasters, fires, flooding, violence, and hardship. Protect those in danger, strengthen those who serve and respond, and guide our leaders with wisdom and compassion.

We also pause to give thanks—for healing, birthdays, new visitors, answered prayers, and the quiet signs of Your grace among us.

Whatever this weekend holds, Lord, remind us that we do not carry it alone.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Familia y amigos de Agape, al acercarnos al final de esta semana, les invitamos a unirnos en oración.

Dios de gracia, ponemos delante de Ti a quienes están enfermos, hospitalizados, recuperándose, atravesando un duelo o llevando cargas que solamente Tú conoces. Trae sanidad donde hay enfermedad, consuelo donde hay dolor, fortaleza donde hay cansancio y paz donde hay incertidumbre.

Oramos por las comunidades de nuestra nación y alrededor del mundo afectadas por guerras, desastres naturales, incendios, inundaciones, violencia y otras dificultades. Protege a quienes están en peligro, fortalece a quienes sirven y responden en momentos de necesidad, y guía a nuestros líderes con sabiduría y compasión.

También hacemos una pausa para darte gracias por la sanidad, los cumpleaños, las nuevas personas que llegan a nuestras vidas, las oraciones contestadas y las señales de Tu gracia entre nosotros.

Señor, no importa lo que este fin de semana traiga, recuérdanos que no tenemos que llevar nuestras cargas solos.

Today, prayer left the building.

This morning, some of our Agape prayer warriors stepped out into the streets surrounding our church in Old East Dallas to pray for the community God has placed around us.

We prayed for the people who live here, the families raising children here, those who work here, our schools and businesses, those who may be struggling quietly, and those searching for hope, belonging, and a fresh start.

We asked God to bless these streets and every home represented here to bring peace where there is anxiety, healing where there is hurt, provision where there is need, and hope where life has become heavy.

These aren’t simply the people who live around our church.

They are our neighbors. And we want them to know that Agape is here, praying, loving, listening, and ready to serve.

May God continue teaching us to be a church that doesn’t simply gather inside a building, but carries the love of Jesus into the community around us.

God, bless Old East Dallas. Bless our neighbors. And teach us to love them well.

Hoy, la oración salió del templo.

Esta mañana, algunos de nuestros guerreros de oración de Agape salieron a las calles que rodean nuestra iglesia en Old East Dallas para orar por la comunidad que Dios ha puesto a nuestro alrededor.

Oramos por quienes viven aquí, por las familias que están criando a sus hijos aquí, por quienes trabajan aquí, por nuestras escuelas y negocios, por quienes quizás están luchando en silencio y por quienes están buscando esperanza, un lugar donde pertenecer y un nuevo comienzo.

Le pedimos a Dios que bendiga estas calles y cada hogar representado aquí que traiga paz donde hay ansiedad, sanidad donde hay dolor, provisión donde hay necesidad y esperanza donde la vida se ha vuelto pesada.

Estas no son simplemente las personas que viven alrededor de nuestra iglesia.

Son nuestros vecinos. Y queremos que sepan que Agape está aquí, orando, amando, escuchando y lista para servir.

Que Dios continúe enseñándonos a ser una iglesia que no solamente se reúne dentro de un edificio, sino que lleva el amor de Jesús a la comunidad que nos rodea.

Dios, bendice a Old East Dallas. Bendice a nuestros vecinos. Y enséñanos a amarlos bien.

Jesús les hizo a sus discípulos una pregunta que todavía llega hasta nosotros:

“Y ustedes, ¿quién dicen que soy yo?”

Es fácil repetir lo que otros nos han dicho acerca de Jesús. Pero llega un momento cuando la fe se vuelve personal.

No solamente: ¿Quién dice mi iglesia que es Jesús?
No solamente: ¿Qué me enseñó mi familia acerca de Él?
Sino: ¿Quién es Jesús para mí hoy, en medio de la vida que realmente estoy viviendo?

Quizás hoy Él es tu esperanza.
Tu fortaleza.
Tu paz.
Tu Salvador.
O quizás todavía estás descubriendo la respuesta.

También hay espacio para ti en esta conversación.

¿Qué tienes en mente?

Jesus asked His disciples a question that still reaches us today:

“Who do you say that I am?”

It’s easy to repeat what we’ve heard other people say about Jesus. But eventually, faith becomes personal.

Not just: Who does my church say Jesus is?
Not just: Who did my family teach me He is?
But: Who is Jesus to me right now, in the life I’m actually living?

Maybe today He is your hope.
Your strength.
Your peace.
Your Savior.
Or maybe you’re still discovering the answer.

There is room for you in that conversation.
