Just a glimpse of today’s DAWN in Pink Mini-Retreat! 💕🌿

We postponed from last week, but today reminded us that God’s timing is beautiful. This was a God decision!

Words can’t fully capture what we experienced—the presence of God, the honest conversations, the laughter, the prayers, and the joy of simply being together. We made room to pause, breathe, and connect, and God met us there.

Our hearts are full. Thank You, Lord, for knowing what we needed—and when we needed it. 💗

It’s Thursday, but we’re still carrying Sunday with us. 💗

Our Deeper family showed up in pink as we honored breast cancer survivors, remembered those we’ve lost, and stood with those still facing the fight.

Pastor Tarrique Henry continued our ROOTED series with “Gifts That Heal,” reminding us that God’s healing reaches into our physical, emotional, and spiritual lives. His methods and timing may vary, but His heart of compassion invites us to keep seeking Him and caring for one another.

As this week continues, let’s carry that compassion beyond Sunday. Check on someone. Pray with someone. Make room for their story.

We wore pink together. Let’s keep walking in love together. 💗

EVERYBODY has faith.

Though the nature of our faith may differ, we all believe in something. So the true question is, what is the OBJECT of your faith?👀 As we put our faith into practice this week, we must choose to not simply question the strength of our faith, but the trustworthiness of the thing we put our trust in!!

WE DONT POSSESS ALL WISDOM‼️

As much as we hate to admit it, we are all limited in our knowledge. It's simply what makes us human. Thankfully, we know the One who DOES possess all wisdom!!🙌

If you're struggling to accept your limits today, here's a reminder that no matter who you are, there is a God who knows all things and wants to do for us what we can't do for ourselves!!

Hands lifted. Hearts in prayer. Every generation growing together. 💛 What a meaningful Sunday at Deeper!

As we continued ROOTED: Season 3, we explored the gift of faith through 1 Corinthians 12:4–11 and a question that reaches all of us: What do you do when you can’t see how things will work out?

Biblical faith rests in who God is. We can pray boldly, believe that He is able, and remain faithful even when the outcome looks different from what we hoped.

The three Hebrew men declared that God could deliver them—and even if He didn’t, they would still serve Him. Paul’s trust in God brought courage to others in the middle of a storm. Both remind us that faith helps us endure and strengthens the people around us.

The Holy Spirit gives gifts for the common good. From the worship platform to the children’s classroom, every person and every gift matters.

This week, let’s carry this with us: We may not know what God will do, but we can trust who He is. 🙌

We've Glamorized Leadership. Jesus Redefined It.

Too often, leadership is portrayed as power, prestige, and position.

We celebrate the spotlight. We admire the stage. We applaud titles, influence, and recognition.

In Matthew 20, the mother of James and John approached Jesus with a request: that her sons be given places of honor, one at His right hand and one at His left. Like many of us, she viewed greatness through the lens of status and position.

Jesus' response changed everything:

"Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave." (Matthew 20:26-27)

Then He pointed to His own example:
"The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:28)

True leadership doesn't seek the spotlight.

What a powerful DIVE-In Sunday at Deeper Church!

Today, PD Sue shared “When God Gives Insight” from 1 Corinthians 12:8, teaching about the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge.

Knowledge helps the body see what matters. Wisdom helps the body respond faithfully to what has been revealed.

We were reminded that wisdom is not merely intelligence, knowledge is not omniscience, and every spiritual insight must remain submitted to Scripture, governed by love, carried with humility, and used for the common good.

The Holy Spirit may give a gift through one person, but He gives it for the benefit of others. We are not called to become spiritual celebrities—we are called to become a healthy, functioning body in which every person, every generation, and every gift matters.

Your gift was not given merely to be identified. It was given to be invested.

DIVE in. Make yourself available. Let God use what He has placed within you to help others follow Jesus.
