Daily Power Thought 9/7/26 Good Morning.

Did You Know It Pleases God, When We Tell Others & Proclaim God’s Goodness?

I don't know how long you've been a Christian, but you may have heard other believers talk about sharing your testimony, or your life story of how you became a Christian.

Even a new believer can do this, according to Mark 5:1-20.

There we read about a man tormented by demons.

Jesus cast out the demons, and the man was so thrilled he asked if he could follow Jesus.

Our Lord didn't say, "Sure, sit at My feet and let Me tutor you for a few years until you are ready to share your testimony."

Instead, He said, "Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you" (5:19).

As a new believer, the man had all he needed to testify of his experience with Jesus.

The same is true for you. Are you willing?

Or you still holding back, because you’re concerned about what people will think or say about you?

Rather than giving God; the glory for giving you another opportunity at life, and God alone, has great things in you, in spite of your faults and failures, but his grace was sufficient then, and it is now.

God show favor towards us daily, so many things we take for granted, like when you are able to open your eyes or even take a breath!

Go, Remind others of His goodness also!

Let Us Pray:
God, You have done some incredible things in my life, and I have no reason to be embarrassed to talk about them.

Guide my speech, and use my words to help others know You.

Lord this is not anything scripted but let me share from my heart, who you are!

Daily Power Thought 8/5/26 Good Morning.

Never Be Ashamed Of The Gospel!

But Be Willing to Share; Who God Is To You!

26 Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.-Luke 9:26 NIV

Men often tell me they don’t know how to share their faith, or say they don't know their Bible well enough, to talk to others about it.

For these rea-sons, they shy away from opportunities for reaching others for Christ.

Because the enemy whisper in their ear and tell them they are not worthy to talk about God.
Because of their imperfections, faults or sin.

But it's not necessary, for you to be perfect or an expert, before you can let others know about the most significant aspect of your life. (Who Is God!)

You already know better than anyone how you became a Christian, and how taking that step changed your life.

All you need is to be willing to speak.

God will do the rest, for it is His Holy Spirit that works in people's hearts.

Jesus explains that taking up your cross and following Him requires sacrifice, self-denial, and complete commitment.

Let Us Pray:
Lord, the first step is always the hardest. Please help me notice opportunities to talk about what You have done in my life. And may my words always be filled with grace. Amen.

Daily Power Thought 9/4/26 Good Morning.

We should be Living as Good Samaritans,
But Some Christians, have the mistaken idea that unbelievers are "the enemy."

As a result, they have little or nothing to do with them.

Jesus’s famous quote about the healthy not needing a doctor!

But the sick needing one, is referring to unbelievers also.

Jesus compares himself to a doctor.

The sick represent people who know they have faults and need help.

The righteous or healthy represent people, who think they are without sin and do not need a savior.

The fact of the matter is, we All need Jesus, and we all have a roll to play in sharing the love of Christ even with unbelievers. “Stop Being Judgmental!”

Jesus mission, it’s found in three gospels:

* Mark 2:17: "On hearing this, Jesus said to them, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.'"

* Matthew 9:12-13: Jesus says, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick... For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

* Luke 5:31-32: Jesus answers, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

In the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37), the Samaritan did not see the wounded Jew as his enemy, even though the Jews of that day were hostile toward Samaritans.

Rather, the robbers were the enemy, and the wounded Jew was a victim.

We rightly view victims of tragedy with empathy and concern.

So why don't we view the unbelievers around us in the same way?

They are the victims of Satan and sin (2 Timothy 2:26), and they can't help themselves (Romans 3:10-18).

Pray for unbelievers and show you care for them.

Take every opportunity to be their friend and neighbor without compromising your faith and your belief to honor Godly living.

Let Us Pray:

Jesus, have I passed by any victims lately? Open my eyes and show me someone today who needs my prayers, my time, my caring attention. Keep me from labeling victims as enemies.

Daily Power Thought 9/3/26 Good Morning!

Sometimes you have to remind yourself that it’s still a good day; even when you’re hurting! Because this shall pass in time.

"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" -Psalm 30:5.

Because you live in a terribly broken hard world, it can be hard to remember, that you are royalty:
adopted into the family of the King of kings.

Today your journey through this world may take you along paths of pain and problems, deserts of deprivation and distress.

But now is not the time to allow stinking thinking, to tell you to give in or give up!

Do not be surprised by these fiery trials; rather, take them in stride, trusting in the One who never leaves your side.

God knows it’s rough for you right now, but In due time; God will take you into the realm of His Glory-Light where there will be no more night.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31.

Let Us Pray:

Heavenly Father, my heart is heavy and this trouble feels too big for me to carry alone.

God help me to be still and wait on You.

When I am scared and want to rush ahead, calm my anxious thoughts.

Give me the strength to trust Your timing, knowing that You are my safe place and my strong rock.

Lord renew my drained strength today,
and hold me close Lord, until Your help arrives, to relieve of my distress.

Daily Power Thought 9/2/26 Good Morning.

Even though sometimes, we have to walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for (God) you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you."-Isaiah 41:10

When faced with pain, like someone is feeling today!

We will do everything we can to silence it: through distraction, numbing, and temporary comforts that keep us from facing what hurts.

Some emotions, especially those that come with loss, anger, sadness, and loneliness, can feel like too much to carry.

Where can we take these feelings that overwhelm us?

Let our feelings of hurt, be known to God!

Of course, there is deep comfort when someone sees our pain and, even more, chooses to sit with us in it.

But realistically, how long can they do this, and will they truly be able to offer the ultimate and lasting comfort we need?

We can bring every hard time and heavy emotion to Jesus.

God invites us to come to Him with our exhaustion and burdens, our grief and discouragement, our fears and struggles.

"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope."
-1 Thessalonians 4:13

Let Us Pray:

Dear God, My heart is very heavy today.

The pain of losing someone many of my family members deeply love is still raw.

Day before Yesterday, took so much out of me, and others who are experiencing a loss and waking up today feel hard.

Please give us the strength to open our eyes.

Give me the courage to take the first step in trusting your promises God today.

When I feel weak, be my strength.

When my mind feels cloudy, give me a moment of peace.

Wrap your arms around me and all who are hurting.

Hold me close when the grief feels too big for any of us to carry or began to process.

Help me get through today, of emotions and sorrow, one small moment at a time.

Daily Power Thought 9/1/26 Good Morning!

To My H-Town Family, keep the Faith 🙏🏾❤️.

And to others, who are experiencing loss and grief, this morning!

Rest Easy Cousin Teresa 💔🙏🏾.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14: We do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of people, who have no hope.

Death and loss of life, is never easy, especially when they are an important matriarch in your family.

Your mind and heart gets flooded with hurt, and memories and sorrow after receiving a call of a love one being called from labor to rest (has died).

God reminds us of this promise:
I am a very present and well-proved help in trouble.

My Presence is always with you, but I am very present in times of distress.

Because you are a member of My royal family; a citizen of My heavenly kingdom; I am committed to caring for you.

During stressful times, your heart may race and your adrenaline level may soar.

These physiological changes and loss of life, can block your awareness of My Presence and my plan for every life!

So it’s vital, in times of heartbreak and pain; when there are no words to even begin explain your pain and how you really feel! Just know you are not alone.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.-Psalm 34:18:

in such times remember to remind yourself:

“Jesus is here with me and you; in fact, He is very present with us in this hard situation.”

Then, take some slow, deep breaths so you can relax enough to connect with God and draw the strength you need from God alone. God is our comforter!

Jesus (said), "l am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying." JOHN 11:25.

Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You believe in God; believe also in me.
My Father’s house has many rooms. -John 14:1-3:

Even through the pain, grab hold of God!

God will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.-Revelation 21:4.

Daily Power Thought 8/29/26 Good Morning.

Sometimes It’s Challenging, Loving the Unlovely!

It's easy to show love to attractive or successful people.

But Jesus commands us to love the unlovely, and even those who hate us (Matthew 5:44).

We are always inviting people straight off the block to the Sunday Brunch Worship Service.

Because everyone is welcome in God’s house; even non-Christians!

One day a woman coming straight from her workplace, which was the street; was walking by the church; I invited her to come in for the agape breakfast, and worship service and to some people’s surprise, she came in and enjoyed the service.

This woman did not take care of herself her hair was messy, her clothes dirty.

Though she was unlovely, everyone endeavored to show love and care for her.

She continued to attend, and in time, she accepted Christ!

It would have been easy to ignore her because of her appearance.

But we're called to love the unlovely, and let God do His incredible, life-changing work in them.

We are to view each person for what he or she really is!

Yes regardless they are still a child of God and they just might be a lost soul, in need of a Savior.

Let Us Pray:
Lord, help me and others, to look past people's outward appearance and to see their true worth, their dig-nity, and their need.

Lord, I’m available, so you can meet those needs sometimes even through me.

God Help your church and all believers to love those who, just may need a hand up!

Daily Power Thought 8/28/26 Good Morning. “Humble Yourself And Say I’m Sorry, And Mean It, To God And Others!”

SERVING GOD REPENTANCE IS A MUST!

IT IS NOT; OPTIONAL OR NEGOTIABLE!

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
-2 CHRONICLES 7:14.

IS REPENTANCE NECESSARY? WHY DOES GOD WANT ME TO REPENT?

The Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.
-2 CHRONICLES 30:9

The Lord says: "... Come home to me again, for l am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever."-JEREMIAH 3:12.

Repentance is your only hope of receiving God's mercy.

Those who refuse to see and admit their own sins can't be forgiven for them; they have placed themselves outside God's mercy and blessing.

I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord.

Repent, and turn from your sins.

Don't let them destroy you! Humble yourself and get your God business right!

Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit.

For why should you die ...?
I don't want you to die, says the Sovereign LORD. Turn back and live! -EZEKIEL 18:30-32.

It doesn’t matter what your sin is or was!

There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent. LUKE 24:47.

Yes, God's promise is that despite sins being like scarlet or red like crimson, He will make them as white as snow and like wool. -Isaiah 1:18.

Let Us Pray:

Dear God,
I come to you today with a sorry heart.
I have made mistakes and hurt people.

Please forgive me for my wrong choices.
Wash my heart clean and help me start fresh.

Please give me the courage to face those I have wronged.

Help me say I am sorry and mean it.
Give me the strength to change my ways.

Show me and give me wisdom God; how to love others the way you love me.

In The Mighty Name Of Jesus! Amen
