This past Sunday, St. Luke celebrated Pentecost, honoring the day the Apostles and the Virgin Mary received the blessing of the Holy Spirit. This day also marks the birth of the Church, sanctifying believers as the Body of Christ blessed with the many gifts of the Holy Spirit. As we celebrate this blessed occurrence move with faith knowing the Holy Spirit guides our hearts, an ever-present Helper.

We’ll examine what happened in Jerusalem on Pentecost then, and what needs to happen in this country today.

Tuesday, May 26 is the Texas Primary Runoff Election, and your vote is needed.

Think about those who marched, who bled, who were denied this right for generations – and still fought to secure it for us. Voting is not just a civic duty. It is an act of honor acknowledging their sacrifice.

Election Day is this Tuesday. Find your polling place at www.votetexas.gov and make your voice heard.
