What would the ancestors say about your voting habits?

Pastor Butler’s message this week pushed us past the ballot box: are we honoring what our people sacrificed for? As Tupac reminded us, we can critique the system and still change it through self-reliance, education, awareness, unity, and exercising our right to vote.

Impact Texas 2026 is calling on us to Get 3 to Vote:
1. FIND 3 people who aren’t registered or didn’t vote
2. PREPARE them to be ready
3. ACT and get them to the polls!

Scan the QR code or visit vote411.org/make-your-plan to build your plan today.

St. Luke’s Political Social Action Ministry (P-SAM) will be available every Sunday following worship service under the Tree of Knowledge to help everyone check their voting status and assist with voter registration.

MAKE YOUR PLAN, St. Luke Nation! Let’s be ready to take ACTION!

Zacchaeus climbed a tree to see Jesus, and what he found was a Savior who already knew his name.

In this week’s message, “God Is Still Writing Your Story,” Pastor Richie Butler unpacks Luke 19:1-10 and reminds us that being seen by Jesus affirms your purpose and your promise. He also breaks down the dynamics of power, how it can corrupt, be misused, even intoxicate us, versus how Jesus’ followers are called to use power differently: to empower others, not control them.

If God is still writing your story, here’s where to start:
1. Receive redemption: “Lord, I receive your grace.”
2. Release the past: “Lord, I refuse to let my past define my future.”
3. Restore what you can: “Lord, show me where I need to make things right.”

Keep making a joyful noise. He’s not finished with you yet!

Zacchaeus wasn’t even supposed to be close enough to see Jesus. Too short, too disliked, too much baggage with his own neighbors. So he climbed a tree, just trying to catch a glimpse. And Jesus stopped, looked up, and flipped his whole life around.

In this highlight from the Summer Reset Series, Pastor Richie Butler breaks down Luke 19:1-10 and reminds us God isn’t waiting on you to get it together first. He’s already moving toward you, right where you are, ready to change the whole trajectory of your life.
