Alright!!!

Fireworks are done, cookout is over, celebration is finished, time to wined down and get ready for the week and what better way to do it than to have your weekly family reunion at the ministry box(church) of your choice.

We celebrated FREEDOM this weekend and Jesus has provided us with the greatest FREEDOM to mankind.

DO NOT neglect the gathering…

Blessings to all my friends and family, here’s a little food for thought.

As I sit here praising Jesus for allowing me to wake up and get into HIS Word while enjoying this beautiful scenery before I head out the door to install some carpet.

I’m reading in Isaiah 1:3 and it says,

The ox KNOWS his master and the donkey KNOWS his owner’s manger, but Israel does NOT know, my people do NOT understand.

The ox KNOWS his master because he hears his voice and recognizes it.

The donkey knows where his owner’s manger is because he’s followed his master therefore he knows now where to go when he needs his nourishing.

I couldn’t help but think about every dog we’ve ever had or any dog that has come and stayed at my house, even if it wasn’t my dog personally as soon as they heard my voice of authority they’d follow it.

You see even an animal knows his master because not only does he hear it but he recognizes HIS voice.

An animal knows where the master keeps his food and knows its readily available to him when it needs its nourishment.

Why is it that Christianity today, like the Israelites in Isaiah’s time didn’t understand?

Today I ask you, as I ask myself,

Whose voice are you listening to?
Do you know your master?
Do you know where his manger is, where to get your daily nourishments?

DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS IN JESUS AND JESUS ONLY?

HIS manger is the Word of God, that is where we get our nourishment from, that is where we get instruction, that is where we find the answer to any situation we may be going through in life, that is where we hear our Father’s voice, that is a beautiful love letter written to HIS children!

When will we understand?

I can’t fathom life without JESUS but too often we come to Jesus in time of need, hardship or mourning and not that those all bad reasons to come to the Father but it’s nothing like coming to HIM for no reason at all other than you love HIM!

Knowing Jesus is such a TREMENDOUS blessing I wouldn’t trade this life for anything else, Lord I don’t want your blessings, you DON’T OWE me anything, I just WANT YOU!!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you JESUS!
