Dear Lord, sometimes I don’t have the right words when I try to pray, though You always hear me even when I don’t have perfect prayers. You hear more than words. You hear the ache behind them. You understand the tears, and the moments when I don’t even know where to begin. Dear Lord, the energy I once had is not the same, and I feel the weight of my limitations more than I used to. Lord, You have walked with me in every season of my life, from my youth, to where I am to-day. You have been with me throughout it all, leading me, and reminding me that my worth is not counted by my accomplishments. Dear God, Please fill my heart with joy, peace, and contentment. Help me to see the good in every situation, and to embrace each day with gratitude. When life is challenging keep the faith, keep God in your heart and keep going! Life is filled with chal-lenges that test you in many ways; just remember how strong you are. Keep going and face whatever comes before you, because it will pass and because of it, you will become a stronger, wiser and better person. But, most of all though, keep your faith in God, believe in His promises and His unconditional love for you.

You can find that over time that some of the things you established in your life was only built on a temporary foundation, and can easily fade away. But the things that don’t fade away is pointed out to us in Scripture. God tells us that what you do in faith, in love, and for Him, will endure the test of time, not because they were seen by the world around you, but because they are seen by God. So in the end, it will only matter whether or not you knew God, and lived your life for God, to earn everlasting life with Him.

Dear Lord, help me spend today with a Smile on my face, Love in my heart, and Joy in Your Grace. Help me to see You in new ways, and in the simple everyday moments. Embrace everyday with an open heart. Life is valuable because it is always changing. You can’t predict what is going to happen, but the more we appreciate what you have now, the less you will regret what you didn’t cherish when it is gone. So stop expecting everything to stay the same. Put your faith and love in God, love the people around you, and don’t wait for “someday” to live life fully.
