We loved celebrating our graduating seniors this past Sunday! Our high school graduate, Chris Flores, joined us in person and received a special quilt from our church family. Although our college graduates couldn’t be with us, we celebrate their accomplishments and wish them God’s blessings in all that lies ahead. 🎓💚

🎓 Senior Sending This Sunday in Worship 🎓

Please join us on Sunday, June 7, as we celebrate our LCOC graduates during worship. We are grateful for each student and excited to recognize the great things God is doing in their lives.

Following the service, everyone is invited to a dessert reception to congratulate our graduates and offer encouragement as they step into this new season.

This past Sunday, our church family had the privilege of celebrating Jon and Tricia and thanking them for nearly 20 years of faithful fellowship, friendship, service, and ministry within the life of LCOC.

Over the years, they have blessed our congregation in countless ways through their kindness, encouragement, servant hearts, and dedication to our church community. Their presence has been a gift, and the friendships built during their time here will always be treasured.

As they prepare to move to South Dakota to begin a new adventure closer to their sons, family, and dear friends, we send them with love, gratitude, and many prayers.

In their words:
“Our faith has been strengthened by our time with you… It has been a blessing to be here so long and build so many wonderful friendships that will be cherished forever.”

While we will deeply miss them, we are thankful for the impact they have had on our church family and excited for all God has ahead for them.

Wear Red for Pentecost Sunday!

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Pentecost — the day we remember the sending of the Holy Spirit in tongues of fire and celebrate the birthday of the Church.

Recently, we visited and thanked the Dale City Volunteer Fire Department (Boulevard's Bravest) firefighters who bravely responded to the fire at our church. Providing sandwiches and snacks was a small way to show our appreciation for all they do. We are deeply thankful for their hard work, courage, and commitment to protecting our community.

The Mother's Day Diaper Drive for Action in Community Through Service was a huge success! 💙

Together, our church and other groups using the building collected 9,964 diapers and 9,820 wipes—exceeding the goal by 33%! We also donated formula and other baby essentials to help support moms and families in our community.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, prayed, and helped spread the word. Your extraordinary generosity is truly making a difference!
