Due to a continued outbreak of COVID-19 surrounding the Gainesville, GA area, and to take a cautious approach to opening DBC to normal activities, the VBS event scheduled for the week of June 8th has been postponed until a week to be determined in mid to late July. We want to offer this life changing event to our families and will make every effort to conduct an on-site VBS. Stay tuned and God bless.

WINTER WEATHER UPDATE for Sunday, February 9, 2020:

For the safety of our congregation, the decision has been made to cancel both Sunday services and Sunday School. The remaining snow has not melted as hoped and black ice will develop during the evening hours. The DBC parking lot is covered in snow and will become very slippery by morning. Enjoy the beauty of the season and we will see you Wednesday evening and/or next Sunday.

Way to go students! I love y’all and sorry I have no pictures of you guys working hard making balloons, running corn hole, passing out candy and running the prize wheel. But you all did amazing! And a huge Thank you to all the congregation members for donating candy, for the many of volunteers that helped set up, the kitchen staff that cooked yummy food, to those that prepared trunks and then adjusted quickly for an inside set up. And thank you to all that attend DBC 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat. We pray they you had a wonderful time and those visiting we will see in coming weeks on Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings.

Looking for a way to spend time with friends, meet new people and get a little extra use out of the costume this year?? Join us at Dahlonega Baptist Church tomorrow between 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm for trunk or treat. If the weather clears we will be outside but if not no worries we will be in the lower level of the church enjoying yummy food, trunks up and down the hall way, face painting and balloon animals. See you all there!

This Saturday the 19th is our fundraiser serving opportunity. We will be in the parking lot of DBC 9-2 pm directing vehicles to park and accepting $5.00 donations per vehicle. All funds raised will go towards M-Fuge mission trip. Students will have a pizza lunch around 11:45.

Week 2 of "At Odds" - join us Wednesday night 5:00 - 5:45 pm for yummy dinner. Followed by a fun game, message time and group time with your fellow peers. We will be focusing on Genesis 1:26-27
