Day 1: Scattered on Purpose
Have you ever felt like your life was falling apart, only to wonder later if God was actually setting something up? That is exactly what happened to a group of unnamed believers in Acts 11. Driven out of their homes by violent persecution, they had every reason to go quiet, lay low, and protect themselves. Instead, they kept talking about Jesus. Everywhere they landed, the gospel went with them. What looked like a disaster was actually a divine strategy. God used the enemy's worst move to accomplish His greatest mission. The persecution that was meant to silence the church only amplified it. These ordinary people, with no titles or platforms, became the spark for one of the greatest revivals in history. You may be in a season right now that feels more like scattering than flourishing. A job loss, a move, a broken relationship, a door that closed without warning. It is easy to read those moments as setbacks. But God is not surprised by any of it. He is a God who plants on purpose, and sometimes the planting looks a lot like loss before it looks like life. Your current circumstances are not an accident. They are an assignment. Lean into where God has placed you, because He may be using your scattering to sow something far greater than you can see right now.
