Day 2: Grace Finds the Unlikely
Saul wasn't searching for Jesus that day - he was hunting down Christians with violent determination. Yet grace found him anyway. This is the beautiful mystery of God's love: it pursues us even when we're running in the opposite direction. You might feel like you're too far gone, too broken, or too resistant for God to reach. But Saul's story proves otherwise. He was angry, violent, and convinced he was right while being completely wrong. If God could transform someone actively working against Him, imagine what He can do with a heart that's simply struggling or searching. Grace doesn't wait for us to clean up our act first. It meets us in our mess and begins the transformation from the inside out. The same Jesus who called out to Saul on that Damascus road is calling your name today.

Bible Verse
'For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.' - Luke 19:10

Reflection Question
How does knowing that God pursued Saul when he was actively opposing Him change your perspective on God's love for you?

Quote
Saul was not looking for Jesus, but Jesus was looking for Saul. That's grace.

Prayer
Thank You, Jesus, for seeking me even when I wasn't seeking You. Help me rest in the truth that Your grace is bigger than my failures.

Sermon Excerpt from Dr. Ben Hayes, Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church Dadeville
Don't waste the darkness! Sometimes God's greatest transformations happen in our deepest valleys. When life feels uncertain and confusing, He may be preparing you for something incredible. The question isn't why is this happening, but 'Lord, what do you want me to do?' Real change happens when Jesus becomes not just our Savior, but our Lord.

TRUTH BOMB: You can do all the 'church things' and still miss Jesus entirely. Religion modifies behavior, but only Christ transforms hearts. Are you doing church or surrendering to Christ?

Day 1: When God Interrupts Your Plans
Saul had his life mapped out perfectly. He was climbing the religious ladder, earning respect, and pursuing what he believed was righteous work. But God had different plans. On a dusty road to Damascus, everything changed in an instant. Sometimes God's greatest blessings come disguised as interruptions to our carefully laid plans. Maybe you're experiencing an unexpected detour right now - a job loss, health challenge, or relationship struggle. What feels like a roadblock might actually be God's roadmap to something greater. He sees what we cannot see and knows what we need before we do. Trust that when God interrupts your plans, He's not derailing your life - He's redirecting it toward His perfect purpose.

Bible Verse
'Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.' - Acts 9:1-9

Reflection Question
What current 'interruption' in your life might actually be God's invitation to something greater?

Quote
God still interrupts lives today. Sometimes it's through a sermon. Sometimes it's through suffering or heartbreak. Sometimes it's through conviction.

Prayer
Lord, help me trust Your timing and Your plans, even when they don't match my own. Give me eyes to see Your hand at work in every circumstance.
