Today was a bittersweet day at Union Church as we said goodbye to Pastor Ross Kilpatrick, Amy Kilpatrick and their family after five wonderful years of ministry with us.
Over the past five years, you've been so much more than our pastor, you've been family. Thank you for faithfully preaching God's Word, walking beside us through life's joys and hardships, celebrating with us, praying for us, and loving our church so well. Your kindness, servant's heart, and dedication have left a lasting impact on all of us.
Today we had the privilege of presenting a small gift basket as a token of our love and appreciation. It could never fully express how grateful we are for everything you've done, but we hope it reminds you of how deeply you are loved by your Union Church family.
As you return home to be closer to family and begin this new chapter, we pray God blesses you with joy, peace, and many wonderful opportunities ahead. We know the lives you'll touch there will be just as blessed as ours have been.
Thank you, Pastor Ross and family, for five years of faithful service, friendship, and love. You will always have a place in our hearts and will forever be a part of the Union Church family. We love you, and we'll be praying for you every step of the way.
