VBS 2026
Light. Darkness. Good. Evil. Truth. Lies. We are engaged in an epic battle between two spiritual kingdoms for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, our kids are bombarded with lies about who they are, who their creator is, what is right, and where there salvation comes from. But we are not meant to fight this battle alone. God, the ruler of a Good Kingdom has given his Kingdom Keepers spritual armor to wear. With this VBS, your kids will learn how they can be a part of God’s Kingdom through salvation in His Son. And they will be equipped with the Armor of God and be trained to become Keepers of the Kingdom that stand strong in today’s battle truth. Huzzah!

Right here in the middle of our LOVE OUR CITY service week, I was thinking about the reasons why I love our city. I love our city because this is where God placed me. He wanted me here and He has a purpose. Just as He wanted you here and has a purpose for your time here as well.

This community is more than where we live — it’s where we raise our families, build friendships, work, worship, and walk through life together. We believe one of the greatest ways to show God’s love is by serving the people around us just as Jesus served others: with compassion, humility, generosity, and grace.

Jesus didn’t wait for people to come to Him — He went to them. He listened. He cared. He helped. He encouraged. And He loved people right where they were. That’s the example we want to follow. Whether through encouragement, prayer, practical help, or simply showing up for others, we want our city to know they are seen, valued, and loved.

Jesus often taught through parables because stories have a way of reaching the heart where simple instructions cannot. His parables used ordinary moments to reveal extraordinary truths about the Kingdom of God. They invited people to see themselves in the story and challenged them to reflect on how they lived, loved, and trusted God. Through these simple illustrations, Jesus made eternal truths understandable and unforgettable.

In the same way, our own stories can become living parables that can point others to Him. When we share how God carried us through pain, restored our hope, answered prayers, or transformed our lives, we give people a glimpse of Jesus at work in a real and personal way. Our testimonies remind others that faith is not just something written in Scripture long ago—it is alive today. Sometimes the most powerful way to share the story of Jesus is simply to share the story of what He has done in us.
